My review: This story focused on Lynn and after reading the first book I was interested in reading about her journey. There were a lot of different layers to Lynn’s character with ups and downs. Definitely some really emotional moments and I was rooting for her the entire time. The faith elements were tied in really well, as Lynn was asking herself about God, I think that was relatable.

CaroLynn Stoner puts the wild in the Stoner sisters and the fire in fiery redheads. She’s sassy, stubborn, spectacularly opinionated, and famous for an explosive rant and an even faster exit. Because when Lynn Stoner is done, she’s gone.

For years, Lynn has come and gone on her terms, keeping one foot out the door and doing life exactly the way she wants. That includes wanting nothing to do with the Jesus her family lives and breathes. They think she’s running from Him. Lynn knows better. She left Him behind at church years ago.

But lately, Lynn wants something she’s never cared much about before.

A future.

So when an opportunity in Florida gives her the chance to find it, Lynn loads up her belongings and jumps on her motorcycle, leaving Colorado and its memories behind. All to move in with a man she barely knows and can hardly stand.

To everyone else, it looks like another impulsive decision from the reckless youngest Stoner sister.

What they don’t realize is that Lynn has thought through every mile. For once, she isn’t running away. She’s running toward life.

Lynn has the route mapped and the destination set. The comical mishaps, questionably avoidable dangers, and unexpectedly sweet moments aren’t part of the plan. Lynn chalks each one up to another story from the road, barely noticing the stops, encounters, and conversations marking the miles along the way.

Until.

Everything falls apart in Florida in ways she never fathomed. Suddenly, those seemingly insignificant mile markers begin to look a little less random and a lot more like maybe her headlights weren’t the only thing guiding her path.

For the first time, Lynn begins to wonder if maybe a lifetime of mistakes doesn’t mean her life was one. by @hj_readerandwriter

I loved how the characters grew throughout the series, the stakes continued to rise, the characters were tested, the cliffhangers were great in the first two books and final book wrapped up really well. by @hj_readerandwriter

Loved this book! I was hooked from the first page. I loved the dynamic of the characters. I loved the character growth and pace of this story was great. I was never bored. I also loved that the romance wasn’t over complicated or too many obstacles. It was about them getting to know each other, falling in love. I also felt like there was just the right amount of side characters, sometimes I feel like romcoms focus too much on side characters and this one all fit together so well.
This is a closed door romcom and there were so many swoony moments. I loved how Shane developed throughout the story and how he opened up to Willow.
