THE OTHER SIDE | ANYASA and HKJ

From Indian classical textures to hypnotic melodic grooves, ANYASA has carved out a sound that’s unmistakably his own. The first Indian artist signed to Anjunadeep, he has delivered acclaimed EPs Gaya, Athena and Apollo, followed by his genre-evolving Flectere EP.

With releases like Rasiya, Birha, Shiva Valley, Closure, Only You and Falling, Anyasa continues to push the boundaries of Indian electronic music. His sound has travelled to global stages including DGTL Amsterdam and Printworks London.

Joining him is HKJ — Hyderabad’s own sonic explorer, bringing his signature blend of house, techno and unexpected grooves to The Other Side.

Two artists. Distinct sounds. One dance floor.

📍 Asembli, Financial District, Nanakramguda

I’ve been thinking about what it really means to be an artist.

In an industry full of opportunities, sometimes the hardest part isn’t finding a stage — it’s finding acceptance for the artist you choose to be.

I play House.
I play Techno.
I play D&B.

I love different tempos, different grooves, different energies.

And I don’t want to put myself in a box just because it makes me easier to define.

I want to experiment.
I want to evolve.
I want to surprise myself.
I want every set to take me somewhere different.

Maybe that makes my journey a little harder.

But I’d rather stay true to my curiosity than become predictable just to fit in.

I’m not trying to choose one genre.
I’m trying to find my sound.

This is HKJ.

And I’m only getting started. 🖤
