Let me just show you how easy it is to mill your own grains. For muffins, waffles (think ~ make and freeze, pop in the toaster when ready), pancakes, and of course bread. (Which is much easier and not as time consuming as sourdough. However, sourdough is even better for you!)

He has wanted to get us out west and I didn’t think I’d enjoy it…boy was I wrong! And a Rueben never tasted so good after the hike. General conference was great and the extra 2 days for family time was so needed since these kids are so busy with school and I feel I hardly see them. Utah is beautiful. by @hkjury

I walked by twice, looking at the dirty rattle peeking out from all the other miscellaneous “junk” in the cart. Long story short, I brought it home, cleaned it up, weighed it, measured it, took photos and it quickly sold for way more than I expected.

It’s not the present condition but the makers mark that determines our value.

Romans 5:8, while we were still sinners…Christ died for us! It wasn’t when we reached a “status”. It isn’t when we “get it together”.

He thought we were worth saving! I’m thankful He has kept me, He sees the potential in me. God help me to NOT let that “Makers Mark” get buried beneath grime but instead to be a shining “sparkle” even with all my scars and flaws.

From little girls to amazing young ladies. 🥹 I’m watching them develop their personal walk with God and trust that God is who He says He is in all areas of their lives. They have their personal convictions and are strong and faithful. They both love serving in the Kingdom of God. They’re learning to live in this wild world yet they remain strong, modest and full of His Spirit so that they can be a light to those around them who are desiring what this world can’t give. I am so very proud of them and I couldn’t be more grateful to God for blessing me with them. Happy national daughters day by @hkjury

It was an honor to be with our friends in Augusta. Delicious food, a big surprise firework show 😂, and great church. David preached on The Name, it doesn’t get much better than that. Oh…and the cutest little town with an adorable pink house. I’m changing our house color…🤷🏻‍♀️🤩 so charming. Just send the painters over and landscapers to add jasmine EVERYWHERE. by @hkjury

He’s a minister and director of operations @atlantawestpc | a teacher @urshanuniv | General secretary for GA District with the UPCI | he maintains his accounting certificate every year by completing so many hours | he’s my husband | dad to 3 + dog | my assistant when I do events | he teaches and lives the Bible 💯.

Honestly, I can list all the titles but that doesn’t come close to all that he actually does. It’s an understatement when I say he has a million things to do. And that’s not touching home improvements/honey to do’s. (That’s on the back burner)

There’s one hat he’s wearing today and we’re thankful for that… 🎉🥳 happy birthday @davidajury to the one who has great patience, gives grace, has mercy and compassion. To the one who’s been faithful to God, family and work. We are here because of his commitment, leadership and guidance and walk with God. by @hkjury

24 years ago, we did not have conversations about who takes out the trash, who does the laundry, who cooks, who keeps up with the maintenance of the vehicles, who disciplines the kids, who cleans the house, who does the yard work, who does the grocery shopping… we both do all of the above because we are a team. Although, he by far carries the heavier load. Sometimes we don’t work well together but what team or marriage is truly perfect?! We strive for better because we agree life would be pretty miserable without one another.

24 years ago, I knew I was marrying a good man. Today, he’s pretty close to perfect and I’m quite far from it…they say opposites attract and that’s the truth!

We’re not even halfway through our journey together. Raising kids is consuming. Doing ministry together is consuming. But I wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s been a sweet life so far.

I didn’t want to start food tracking again. I did it for 2 years a while back and know how much commitment it takes. BUT…I’m pretty competitive with my own self and when I have a “budget” (ok David don’t read this or you’ll call me a liar 😂) let me rephrase that…a “calorie budget”…I like the challenge of working with it.

I try hard to bank early in the day to leave room for indulgences. I play around on the tracking app. I WAS going to have a bowl of yogurt with honey, berries and granola…I pre logged it but that would’ve taken me over a good bit on carbs. Since I’d already had my latte and cookie…I switched it out for the grilled chicken and yogurt dip. That kept me in the right macros/calories for the day.

What did my family do? It’s Sunday…our eating schedule is different. They usually snack or have a bowl of ice cream for the evening. That’s where leftover grilled chicken comes in to save my day!

It pains me to have to buy bone broth when I can make it and it’s this easy. And SO GOOD! Like, 100x better than store bought. I freeze it, use it to make rice, soup bases, or straight up drink it for some gut nourishment.

Oh, if you don’t have an instant pot, I’d highly recommend this one. I air fry my organic whole chicken and freeze the bones till I’m ready to use make broth. I’ve made yogurt in this thing too. It’s another workhorse in the kitchen for me. by @hkjury
