What we tried:
🍤 Six-Piece Appetizers 3.5/5
On the 重口味 side, but every dish has a local twist like sour plum & XO sauce. Super unique combo of flavours!

🍞 One-Bite French Toast 4/5
Savoury meets sweet with 五香肉丁 + condensed milk egg cream. Surprisingly works! Toast nicely fried.

🦞 Typhoon Shelter Seafood Platter 5/5
Lobster super fresh, corn fritter sweet, crab delicious. 避風塘 flavour doesn’t overpower; batter not thick. 100% would order again!

🍚 Claypot Paella Chicken Roll 4.5/5
Chicken roll with Chinese cured meat and sausage, and XO sauce with egg yolk. The chicken is tender, and egg yolk keeps it moist. Wish portion was bigger.

🍰 Tiramisu & Mango Sago Pomelo Mochi 4.5/5
Both were flavourful. Mango sago tastes just like the actual dessert, and the tiramisu has strong coffee flavour with powder on top to add depth.

🍹 Expiry Mate Cocktail 4/5
Pineapple + lemon leans sour; banana soy milk foam adds creaminess, honey balances it out. Served in a cha chaan teng cup — love the detail. Unique!

🥤 Cola Jelly – 4/5
Nostalgic umbrella + coconut flakes. Wish it was softer with less gelatin.

Solid orange lemonade — can’t go wrong.

What we tried:
🍜 花膠貴妃雞濃湯米線 (Fish Maw & Guifei Chicken Rich Broth Rice Noodles) — 5/5
¼ fresh 三黃雞 chicken with generous thick fish maw 花膠, served over a flame to stay hot. Rich yet naturally sweet soup, al dente noodles, and tender, flavorful chicken that’s not dry at all. An absolute signature must-try!

🥩 日本活水飼豚片香辣四川乾鍋飯 (Japanese Pork Slice Sichuan Dry Pot Rice) — 3/5
Soft potato slices, crunchy lotus root, and green beans. Tender, mostly lean pork. Spice level is perfectly mild for local tastebuds.

🐟 口水脆鯛魚片 (Mouthwatering Sea Bream Slices) — 5/5
Refreshingly crisp fish with a light chili kick and mild numbing peppercorn. A crispy finish adds great depth without being overly spicy.

Hey Nibblerz! 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐱 is trending for its cookie slices and choco drinks, with vintage woody vibes and a piano in the corner.

What we tried:
🍪 Black Sesame & Mochi Cookie Pizza — 2/5
Tasted like 黑芝麻湯圓 but hardened. Not served warm. Only three tiny mochi bits — barely added texture. Black sesame flavor was okay.

🍫 Triple Chocolate Cookie Pizza — 2.5/5
Very sweet. The crunchy chocolate on top wasn’t fresh and didn’t add to the texture.

☕ Nutty Lover — 1/5
Chocolate had hardened on the side of the can — unreachable and unenjoyable. It had crunchy nut bits, but coffee overpowered everything. Felt more like a mocha; chocolate flavor was underwhelming.

☕ Chai Choco — 2/5
Nutmeg overpowered. Strong spice flavoring, barely tasted the chocolate despite being marketed as a chocolate drink special.

🪑 Vintage woody vibes with a piano. Only one server, so drinks took a while. The seating was ample and chill.

⭐ Overall: 2/5
Slice claims to be 8-inch but felt way smaller. Only three flavors to choose from. Not served warm, overpriced for the quality and quantity. Not worth a visit — normal store-bought cookies taste better.

Hey Nibblerz! 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 is a Korean-style café with chill music and plenty of seats upstairs and downstairs.

What we tried:
🥪 Jambon Sandwich — 3/5
Generous jambon slices, but the honey mustard overpowered everything. Mid, nothing special.

🍪 Brookie — 2.5/5
Dry af. The cookie bit was okay, but together it was dry plus dry. Chocolate flavor wasn’t strong, served at room temp. Wish the brownie was gooey and moist.

🍰 Tiramisu — 3/5
Regular and mild. Coffee flavor was weak, not creamy enough, and the ladyfingers were more like sponge cake. Pretty sweet overall.

🪑 Packed early, but lots of seating. Spacious downstairs and upstairs, open kitchen, friendly staff, vibey music. Good for work or hanging, super chill.

📍 The Berlin Service | 51 Jardine’s Bazaar, Causeway Bay

⭐ Overall: 3/5
Mid experience. The limited choices didn’t work with our dietary restrictions. Flavors were mild, food felt overpriced for the quality. Worth a visit if you’re nearby and want a chill spot, but not a must-try.

Hey Nibblerz! 𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐋𝐚𝐛 is a busy, modern spot with quick service, making it a good choice for solo diners or office workers.

What we tried:
🐓 Chicken breast & fillet set — 3/5
Fragrant rice with a slightly different flavour from the usual. The chicken breast was surprisingly tender, but the skin was very dry. Comes with 3 sauce dips for the chicken. The chicken soup was fresh with no MSG, and the cucumber salad was a nice veggie option.

🍞 Kaya Toast — 2/5
The bread was overly toasted and hardened, and we couldn’t really taste the kaya at all. The butter was also melted instead of the usual thick cold slab, which made it a miss.

🪑 Modern interior with cha chaan teng-style seating. It was quite busy even around tea time, but the staff were nice and service was fast.

📍 All Day Chicken Lab | 16 Shiu Wo St, Tsuen Wan

⭐ Overall: 2.5/5
A convenient, fast-moving spot with friendly service, but the food was a bit hit or miss. The chicken set was decent, while the kaya toast was disappointing.

What we tried:
🥐🍍 Chicken Chop with Pineapple Sandwich with Ciabatta — 4.5/5
Juicy chicken with pineapple adding a nice fresh touch. The crispy ciabatta was thinner too, so it felt less carb-heavy.

🥯🥓 Pulled Pork Sandwich with Sesame Bagel — 4/5
Super tender and flavourful, though definitely messy to eat. The tomatoes and lettuce helped lighten it up, and the firmer bagel worked well as the bread.

🪑 Small and cosy with minimal seating, but the setup feels modern and neat. Bread options are displayed up front, and you can even build your own sandwich.

Hey Nibblerz! 𝐏𝐢𝐜𝐢 is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a special crossover menu, bringing together their fresh handmade pasta and 𝐍𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐢 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐢𝐚’s viral Culinary Class Wars dishes.

What we tried:
🍗 Pici White Poultry Ragu and Truffle — 4/5
Earthy, hearty, and al dente, with a fragrant truffle aroma that really stood out. The mix of chicken and duck made the sauce rich and satisfying.

🍝 Tagliolini with Sicilian Prawn Tartare and Bottarga — 3.5/5
Spicy, very flavourful, and super herbaceous, with fresh prawn and a nice marinated sweetness. The pasta portion was generous and had a chewy bite, though it was on the chillier side.

🍝 Ravioli Galbi Jjim — 2/5
The sauce leaned unexpectedly sweet, and we wished there was more meat in the dish. It felt a bit too sauce-heavy overall.

🍰 Chestnut Tiramisu — 4/5
Sweeter than expected, but the chestnut flavour came through strongly and paired well with the espresso. The chestnut bits added a nice texture, and it tasted better than it looked.

🪑 Very busy so booking ahead. Service was great, and every diner gets complimentary sourdough with vinegar and olive oil. They even sing happy birthday and don’t charge a cake-cutting fee.

What we tried:
🥟🌿 Tofu-skin Chive Dumplings — 4.5/5
Flavourful, fragrant, and juicy with a crispy bite and generous filling. This was our favourite and definitely one we’d get again.

🍢🍖 Bean Curd Meatballs — 4/5
Super juicy with a crisp beancurd layer wrapped around the meatball. Every bite had that satisfying juice-oozing texture.

🍊🍢 Tangerine Peel Fish Ball — 3/5
Nice mandarin peel aroma and a homemade sauce that paired well, but the texture wasn’t springy enough for us.

🐟🍢 Fish Siu Mai — 3/5
Also fragrant with that mandarin peel scent, but the texture leaned mushy rather than bouncy, which was a bit disappointing.

🪑 Casual, convenient, and very grab-and-go friendly, with the minibus stop right nearby making it ideal for a fast snack or takeaway. The menu is broad too, with noodles and other items worth coming back for.

⭐ Overall: 4/5
A classic Hong Kong snack shop with fun flavours to try. The tofu-skin chive dumplings were the standout. They also offer freshly squeezed juice, which is a great bonus for summer, along with frozen fishballs and siu mai you can bring home for later cravings.

Hey Nibblerz! 𝐄𝐗𝐏 serves tea sets with generous portions and a nice view right by the skating rink — a pretty solid spot for a relaxed cafe break.

What we tried:
🥪 Sandwich — 4/5
Soft folded bread with crispy edges, generous cheese, and parma ham that worked really well together.

🍛 Fish Curry — 3.5/5
Flavourful without being too salty, and the fish cutlet had a nice crispy crumb coating that wasn’t too heavy.

🍵 Soy Matcha Latte — 3.5/5
Warm and not too sweet, with a strong soy flavour. The matcha bits didn’t mix fully, but it was still pleasant overall.

☕ Almond Ginger Latte — 3.5/5
Nice almond flavour with only a light ginger note. Balanced and not overly sweet, so it’s one we’d get again.

🍹 Capital C Fresh Juice — 4/5
A refreshing mix of kiwi, strawberry, and orange with a nice sour kick, but still well balanced.

🍎 Pink Apple Fresh Juice — 3.5/5
Refreshing and very summer-friendly, with a classic strawberry, apple, and orange combo.

🪑 Clean and modern, with a comfortable setup and a nice view of the skating rink nearby. Portion sizes were bigger than expected, prices were good for the amount of food, and there was even a free juice offer with the à la carte menu.

Hey Nibblerz! Phi Coffee and Pancake is a comfy spot with warm wooden accents, perfect for a relaxed meal or café catch-up.

What we tried:
🍝 Seafood Risotto — 4/5
Rich and flavourful, with the tomato standing out nicely. The rice was cooked on the softer side, and the added barley gave it some nice texture, while the fresh seafood and peppers made it taste more complete.

🍰 Tofu Fig Pancake — 4/5
A very interesting take on the classic tofu pudding dessert. It was fluffy with the tofu cream and sugar, giving the familiar HK feel. The fig was more of a side character, but overall this tasted great.

☕ Tiramisu Latte — 3/5
Cute presentation with a ladyfinger on top and a thick layer of cream.

🪑 Bright and comfortable with warm wooden tones and a few plant accents. The service was very attentive, food came out quickly, and even during a busy hour the line moved fast.
