Every family has a beginning. Ours was built by two people who sacrificed, prayed, worked, forgave, and loved long before we arrived. If our children remember anything about us, I hope it’s that we honored the legacy well and that we taught them that family is the greatest gift. by @hkozlov

I don’t talk about this part of my life very much, but on Wednesdays, I take my mom hat off for a few hours and get to take care of patients. It’s hard to believe it’s been TEN years since I passed my boards and became a nurse practitioner. I started my career in family medicine full time and later transitioned to part-time skin care/derm after having Eleanor. I’m so grateful for this season of life. I love being present with my kiddos, but I also deeply love caring for patients and getting to be a small part of their healing journeys. What a blessing! Thank you Jesus for every open (and closed) door! And thank you @mimopropst for taking a chance on a new grad and becoming one of my lifelong friends! I cherish you daily. by @hkozlov
