This is a repost from Esther Perel’s page.

I have been listening to her podcasts a lot since I’ve gone back to running. In the past 2 years I have gone through a lot of changes, we all have to be honest.

I have been highly blessed and completely broken all at the same time and I must admit I have a lot of anger that still wakes up from slumber every now and then.

I have learnt however that perfection is stupid, boring and unimaginative and I don’t want my life to be that way. I have learnt that I am not one dimensional or evergreen. I too come in seasons, rain and sunshine. And all are still beautiful and worthy… I have learnt to put all my effort into creating a life story that is mine, mistakes that are mine and choices that are mine. by @hlesaid
