It’s FLOOFING season for beagles.

It’s that time of year, when my beagle sheds enough hair every day to start another beagle…

Like and share with someone who needs to FLOOF their little floof monster. 🐶

This perfect creature quietly slipped away last week. Dear sweet Myron. 🐾❤️🕊️

A silky-haired sweetheart & Axel’s childhood companion - this handsome fella was a raring picture of health until his final few months - following a cancer diagnosis.

His absence I feel the most around sunset - when he used to get VERY serious about dinner time. 🐾❤️ I know the restlessness will abate with time…

I know you hated my snuggles - but thanks for playing along so much, brother. I love you. I do and will forever miss you. I’m also so glad you’re free. I love you enough to let you go.

I know you’re gonna do the most with whatever is next. I hope we meet again - if that’s a thing. I’ve decided when I see an orange butterfly I’m gonna speak your name.

I think of you also when we suit up Pinto in the harness you left for him. Thank you for showing him how to be our leader. Imunna need you to be on the lookout for Rosemary, Dill, Saffron & Peppermint on your travels — you guys all stay together okay? Safety in numbers guys.

Besitos.

@soflo_beaglerescue help a beagle!

Meet Pinto everybody!

This senior beagle is high-maintenance - and we have a perfect place for him to land. We have the luxury of time, space, and in-home laundry! (Pinto’s superpower is ninja puddle-making)

We are so grateful to all the fosters who came into Pinto’s world before us. This rescue operates thru a network of kind humans who all volunteer.

Follow their page & donate if you can.

Who knows - you might fall in love w a beagle who’s just as great as Pinto! 🥹😍

Thank you @jessicake425 for sharing this photo of Peppermint and me from when she first came home as a puppy.

Every single time I look at it - it makes me smile so big at how young we both look.

This little shit got a piece of me and made it HERS, that’s for sure. 🙌🏼

Alright everybody - This is a history post - not a sympathy post. I just wanna leave this photo here so I have it.

Thanks for the outpouring of love and support Axel and I have received. 🙏🏽💯

We are so happy to know that so many of you carry a teeny piece of her memory with you - like we do.

We gave this perfect creature back to the universe today…

Peppermint Moon - 🕊️🖤

June 6, 2008 - January 7, 2025

Thank you to every single one of you who ever showed her love, felt those velvety ears or withstood a blast of that breath…

Our house and our arms feel empty, for now - as it must be… but our hearts are full. You showed us authenticity on a whole new level.

We love you baby girl.
Have a nice long nap on Dilly’s belly. 💕🐾
It’s your favorite. You deserve it.

Let us know below if you want - Axel and I will send you some peppermint to plant in your gardens when it’s time…🌱

This is the song I would sing to her if she was restless or I was trying to lull her to sleep. 💤

As we reach year’s end, I just want to give thanks to this - most important - human, right here. This year, he’s been calm when I was crazy, showed me what kindness looks like when I forget, has grown by leaps and bounds, and has worked his ass off in his business. May your new year bless you with more court time, fewer troubles and love deeper than you’ve ever known. 2025. We got this, boo. by @hlynnwatson
