It’s been a little over a month since our first ever HOMEGRWN Market pop up. We appreciate everyone that made time to come thru and hang, purchase a candle, and contribute to another community focused event. HOMEGRWN Winter ‘26 Stories —

During the winter season, we experience a number of things that alter our lives. Cold weather, less sunlight that gives the illusion of shorter days, less body movement, less time with loved ones, less of all the things we’d normally indulge in during the warmer seasons. Ultimately, all factors that affect how we function in our day to day lives.

Winter is often seen as a season where people retreat and go into hibernation mode, but with this piece, our goal was to share stories from the local Brooklyn and Atlanta creative communities. This series highlights unique perspectives from those individuals, giving them space to express the reality of the winter months, but also how they overcome those challenges.

We hope all of our readers and supporters find inspiration through these stories. Continue to show yourselves grace, and most importantly…stay warm 🫂🏡
