I can truly say that @cassrwong has some of the most creative, girly, sweet patterns for those who aim to cherish the cute things in life! Her patterns are well written, organized beautifully and make you want to knit them up again and again. Dare I say she is the colourwork queen as her patterns are not only original and intricate, but also thoughtfully designed with cute things in mind. She is also quite responsive and is willing to clarify any foggy areas promptly despite a 12 hr time difference! This was such a joy to knit up and surprisingly rather quick. This will make such a gorgeous heirloom piece that all the girls after me will cherish and enjoy for many decades to come!

Diaries of a 22 year old Jen of All trades😋

I ponder my existence and why it seems so radical in today’s world. I began my personal healing journey around 17 married at 19, travelled and lived in MANY places, stayed true to my fiery senses of autonomy; passion and desire to love life. I’m a homemaker, entrepreneur, wife, mother, fiber artist, cosmetologist, singer, songwriter, fitness & health enthusiast +++ that seeks to find the joys in little things like painting my nails with lacquer and using glass files:) for that I am grateful.

I do what I love to do, not hop on each trend train with each destination farther away from personal heart fulfillment. I may have the LOVE of missing out!🫖☕️

I knitted this faux fur headband/ear warmer in about 1hr🤗 it’s super warm and easy to knit up! This is technically my first knit garment although I already made 1.5 leg warmers🤣 I used all knit stitches so garter stitch and used @hobbylobby “FUR THE MOMENT” by yarn bee ☺️ I made both with one skein of yarn with a little left over to make another ☺️ would you like a tutorial? by @hmmletscii

Sent this baby to her new home! I definitely think I’ve found a functional secure way to add fabric lining to crochet bags! I’ve tried a few different methods, but using a darning needle + the yarn used for the crochet project created a secure and uniform look. Yarn is also sturdier than thread and can easily be hidden by weaving in the ends as usual. I also used a lighter to seal the stitches of the bag to prevent pilling. Would you like the pattern for this bag?

Here are a few things I’ve made this year. It wasn’t as productive as I thought it would be, however I dug myself out of a mental rut and dealt with many tribulations and came out on top in the end! These are a few things I’m proud of! At least I have A WHOLE HEAP of WIPS to get working on before the year ends;)
