One of the first people I shared this vision with and someone I leaned on from day one. A true sounding board, constant support system, and steady source of motivation as HT/RC was just an idea.

If I’m being honest, HT/RC started as an excuse to get a bunch of us back together and back in shape, especially after Covid. What began as accountability turned into something much bigger.

Doing this together makes it easier, especially on the days we don’t feel like getting out. by @hmongtimerunclub

Hello!

Wanted to introduce myself. My name is Ka Lee, founder, designer, runner, and athlete of HmongTime Run Club.

HT/RC is about running your own race at your own pace in community.

Inspired by the phrase “Hmong time” meaning you’ll get there when you get there, this club flips that into something empowering. It’s not about being late. It’s about honoring your timing in life and in running.

HT/RC is about belonging. Ownership. Growth. Community.
It’s about finding refuge through movement and community.

Despite the name, this is not limited to one ethnicity or race. The culture is part of the story, but the mission is universal. Everyone is welcome here.

It’s not about how fast you are.
It’s about lacing up.
It’s about showing up.
