It's pub day!! 😭

I can hardly believe it but my sophomore book is out today and I have *a lot* of big feelings. There were times this book was agony. Three rewrites from scratch, panic attacks, and countless days I truly believed it should not see the light of day.

But the last few months have changed my mind about that. Partly that's because of all the beautiful messages that I've gotten from readers and partly it's because of @moniquaplante. As a writer, you never get to experience your book as a reader, but I think listening to your audiobook comes the closest. Moniqua's performance is lush and heartfelt and moving and it made me proud of this book in a way I never have been before. (This is all to say I highly recommend the audiobook!)

This book also wouldn't be here today if it weren't for the belief and support and guidance of so many people, but most especially @laurenspieller, @hmteachout, @sydneycollins_, and my team at @dellromance. I'm also so grateful to @laurensliterarylair and @hannahinherromancereadingera and all of my street team members and friends who shouted about the book!

Anyway, I should stop rambling but please know I am truly treasuring every kind word and comment and post. I'm honored and grateful I get to share this story with you. Thank you all so much. 💛 by @hmteachout

Dearest Gentle Reader,

I’m beyond thrilled to announce that I’m now represented by the fabulous Hannah Teachout (@hmteachout) of Folio Literary Management!

I was so gratefully blown away by Hannah’s love and appreciation for THE BREATH BETWEEN (aka Project Storm if you’ve been here a while). I can’t wait to continue the next phase of my writing and publishing journey with Hannah in my corner. I asked for a fierce champion and the universe ✨delivered✨

An adult romantasy, THE BREATH BETWEEN is the literary amalgamation of my love for angsty, banter-filled romances, magic, found family, and my fave lil gems of Persian culture sprinkled throughout.

Andddddd obligatory shoutout to LOML @kristindwyer for being the first to support this book and yell at me to keep going. I’d be lost at sea without you.

🍐✨ COVER REVEAL ✨🍐

I am so excited to share the cover for my second book, UNDER THE ORCHARD’S SPELL, about a woman reunites with her first love to solve the mystery of the strange occurrences plaguing her family’s pear orchard—only to discover the land holds more magic than she thought.

The book is set in Apple Valley, at a pear farm that is (impossibly) surrounded by nothing but apple orchards. It's inspired by one of my favorite places in the world, Hood River, and my husband's family home, and it's therefore deeply, deeply special to me.

For that reason, I'm so thankful to @georgiestewartillustration for bringing this special setting to life. I'm also so grateful to my agents, @hmteachout and @laurenspieller for believing in me and being the whole reason this book is coming into the world. And to my fabulous editor, @sydneycollins_ for shaping the story into what it was meant to be.

Read if you like:

✨🍐Book Deal News 🍐✨

Friends! I've been keeping an exciting secret for a while now and I'm so excited I get to share it now... I will be publishing not one but *two* books in my debut year!

RIPE FOR A CHARM is a second chance romance tangled in magic, memory, and secrets waiting to be unearthed. It’s set on a strange little pear orchard (somehow the only one in a valley full of apples) where the pears are mysteriously turning to crystal. To figure out why, Ali, the land's new owner, must team up with the first man she ever loved (and lost). But each secret they uncover keeps raising the question: is their future truly theirs to choose?

I am so thrilled to get to work on another project with @sydneycollins_ and the incredible team at @dellromance, and I am ever so grateful to @laurenspieller and @hmteachout for their endless support and guidance. I am endlessly lucky to get to work with all of you incredibly smart and generous people. by @hmteachout
