of course you feel behind— there is so much to do before you clock out! #suicidepreventionmonth

a few years ago, before i explored my creativity, i tried to go away and i cannot stress enough how good life feels when you LIVE TO LEARN. that same pain that pushes my creative direction now is what pushed me over the edge years ago. i studied the pain one day at a time until i finally learned from it … and yes, it still hurts a lot. two things can be true.

learn about why you are the way you are, learn what you like and don’t like in people, learn about your friends’ passions, learn your boundaries so you don’t fall into the same traps, learn what foods you like now and don’t like anymore, we change and evolve so much—
unironically, it is like a productive distraction from said pain.

if you’re feeling alone in your battle, there are many people who can relate to you. maybe not your specific situation (the world would be kinda boring imo) but make it your mission to find them and create new memories surrounding pain.
(if you’re reading this, you definitely have one person who relates & would love to hear about it) by @hnycrmb

Another one for the books! Again, I can't stress enough how awesome it was be apart of What's It? Fest. RoZy had one of the highest energy performances one could hope for. As a Houston local, it's bands like RoZy that really put Houston on the map in the Alt-Rock scene and if you don't believe the hype, you should check out there latest album release "Crybaby (Delux)".

Ofcourse bands like this wouldn't be able to grow without festivals like What's It Fest giving artists a platform to play at insane local venues like Bad Astronaut for the fans to experience first hand!

Send in the clowns 🤡
Some shots from What's It❓️ Music Fest featuring Tony Jupiter. I've never seen so many clown faces in one building but I am all for it. The set was by far one of the most energetic performances of the night both on and off stage and not a single dull moment at the Houston show. @poofiartfx with her professional facepainting booth made sure everyone in the audience had their clown faces ready including Tony Jupiter's very own drummer!
Thank you Tony Jupiter for just being you and bringing the love to Houston.

Big ups to Bad Astronaut for providing such a great space for people to come and see their favorite bands. The sound and lighting is amazing, and staff always making sure the crowd stayed hydrated is definitely a green flag ✅️ for any venue.
