🤯💥When the net is too small, excitement and fun is guaranteed. 😁
It took us three attempts to get this beefy halibut into the net, then the ride began and Steven had to work hard to hold the net.
The landing net held and the magnificent flatfish was safely landed.
It’s always amazing how much strength and endurance this species of fish has! 🥵

- Herring Shad V2
- Sg8 Alpha Rod-140g
- E-Rider Kayak

Topwater auf Hecht & Barsch im superflachen Wasser!

#FullingMill #Hardyflyfishing #hecht #barsch #angeln by @ho.okem

Sweden’s zander couldn’t get enough! 🇸🇪🎣 Erik was getting bite after bite on his latest trip, with our Herring Shad ‘Clear Perch’ doing the trick. With so many perch in these waters, it’s easy to see why!🔥

A few weeks ago, I was able to catch some incredible coalfish in the middle of a small fjord🔥, in addition to halibut. As soon as dusk began (1:00 a.m.), the big ones started feeding.
They were up to 107 cm long and strong enough to spin the kayak several times and drag it a few meters. 😮#coalfish #fishing #angeln #halibut by @ho.okem

🔥Halibut caught from the little E-Rider are incredibly intensive😳. These medium-sized fish are strong enough to turn the little kayak around and drag it through the fjord. It hardly gets any more intense than that, except perhaps from the shore.

The HerringShad V2 has brought me almost all the halibut on this trip. 🙏

🤞Hopes of a return this summer are gradually fading.
But as the wind picks up and temperatures drop, the underwater predators are becoming increasingly hungry and more ferocious. 🐊
It won’t be long now before we head north again!

🏕️It never ceases to amaze me what you can find lurking even in Norway’s small fjords. Amidst the halibut, cod and huge herring, this lovely coalfish didn’t need to be asked twice and snapped up the 3D Herring Shad V2.
The Alpha SG6 Pelagic Cast up to 140g has a short handle which is just perfect for belly boat and small rubber boats like the ERider Kayak.
