POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Thinking about Jane Doe, Cornell, the sad and depressing reality of our “justice” system and how abusers run free everyday. This piece comes from a place of murky memories and the complicated emotions erupting from abuse, assault, and all egregious acts. I made this about 2 years ago, but I feel the same. The anger never really goes away. #janedoe #art #survivor #cornell #abstract by @ho.sista

A poem I made

Poem 👼🏽 if it’s trash ima delete this 😭😭 .

one pin reads, “I’m a weiner”.
Yes. I am warm meat encased in a vessel.

one pin reads, “That’s a lot of bananas” with Snoopy holding a lot of bananas.

one pin reads, “Trans rights are repo rights are Trans rights”. Yes. Your rights are our rights.

the pin can be read over, and over, and over, reflecting the interconnectedness of our struggle, our fight, and our power.

The power to choose what we want. To live a life that transcends the words trapped in the encasings of pins. To project our internal alignment to the world, radiating and transcending through barriers.

Some words are banned.

“Trans”
“Repo”
“Rights”

Their immobility, temporarily suspended between a metal backing and a plastic cover. Their livelihoods, temporarily suspended between a broken system, and an oppressive administration.

Printed, irremovable, and immovable.

“Trans”
“Repo”
“Rights”

Words follow. They travel. They move and mobilize.
They have power, meaning, and vitality to change the world.

To speak out. To revolt. To vote. To rip off the plastic. To let us live beyond what’s printed.

What does your pin read?
