**THANK YOU, CAP-EX FAMILY!** What an incredible weekend! We're still recovering, but we couldn't be more grateful to everyone who came out and supported CAP-EX 2026! We've got some exciting updates to share! **NEW NAME, SAME CAP-EX!** We're officially CAP-EX Events! While our Instagram handle remains @chico_capex for now, we're excited to continue growing under our CAP-EX brand! **INTRODUCING SHOWRUNNERS' CHOICE!** We're adding a special award for our cosplay community! Similar to Judges' Choice, this award recognizes a cosplay personally selected by our showrunners, Michael and Santi, separate from the judged craftsmanship competition. A HUGE congratulations to our first-ever recipient, @gothboy_blackout ! Your cosplay blew us away! **TWO SHOWS IN 2027!** **CAP-EX at Hard Rock Sacramento** July 16–18, 2027 Wheatland, CA **CAP-EX Chico** October 16–17, 2027 Silver Dollar Fairgrounds To everyone who couldn't make it this year, especially those who were sick, we hope you're feeling better and can't wait to see you next time! Thank you for being part of this amazing community. None of this happens without YOU! **capexevents.com** #CAPEX #CAPEX2027 #Cosplay by @hobbyinsights
