Magic 🎱. @apple iphone 📱 photo of 10:30 PM show @mlebear @bluenotenyc. I’d forgotten how much I love jazz; and renewed why I love being alive.

Visited NYC specifically @intrepidmuseum to search for why I enlisted in the @usnavy; and I found answers to what and who I am willing to fight for while at sea or onshore.

The day of the show also marked a beginning of a new age for me : year 34.

And so, something to mark the end, and begin again.

If Spring ended with being properly relieved, summer started enlisting in the @usnavy, but with uncertainty of delayed entry. My doubt surfaced while fitness training.

I’d hold this device, and run with it; and check the screen for notifications or work different applications. Today this movement reminds me of shaking a magic eightball.

I’d hold up the speaker listening to Art Science @robertglasper experiment like asking the eight ball : This Is Not Fear, but still felt hesitant. But then I heard “Blackbird, rise you were only waiting for this moment to be free “ from the @mlebear @victoriacanal Blackbird arrangement. And then I became even more confident listening to No One Like You.

I’m normally asleep before the showtime: so overall it was like hearing a really good bedtime story.

I always thought I’d get to the Bluenote for a show by the musicians I recognized in the photos on the walls and shelves. But I hope now that I’ll share the music of the musicians accompanying @mlebear so that a new generation gets inspired to visit the @bluenotenyc : @julesdobs @joavganor @jackkuelling @isaiah.weatherspoon @skylartang_ @audreymcgraw @the_a_b_b_y @lynwebber.bway @megdwinell taken in Blue Note New York by @hobsflores

Major detour along to way to relocation to home office. Walking along Ladybird in Austin, Texas. I realized how much freedom I had once I got to Midland, Texas. I remembered I had @dijondijon_ and @boniver ticket at Champions Square, New Orleans.

President’s Day 2026.
What this holiday means to me.

Freedom to take apart and put back together a puzzle.

A story of being united in parallel with my past so that I imagine my future.

How Story of The President intersects my life:

1. Travel: a symbol of home - when I leave, when I return, and when I’m back for another flight. Bill Hillary Clinton airport.

2. Profession: a job description - my call to public service - In 2022, I toured Crystal bridges museum of American Art with the United States green building. Coincidentally, an exhibition titled We the People: The Radical Notion of Democracy displayed an original copy of the U.S. Constitution. Although Article I pictured here, the definition of the Presidency should be behind on the following pages in Article II.

3. Home: presidential library so close to home.

4. Music: I followed Explosions in the Sky for the End tour through Texas. College Station was on the way from Houston to Dallas.

5. Literature: Midland was a rest stop between my relocation from California to Arkansas. When I arrived in Arkansas, Decision Points coincidentally was on my bedroom bookshelf. So when The Paper Kites played at the Granada Dallas, I visited the Bush Center within walking distance before the show.

6. Today & Future for Fun: my collection of things related to President’s Day.

7. Campaign Slogan: Let it Be.

8. If I had a presidential nickname: the beetle.

9. On being United : if you’re not first, then your last; and I’m the last man on earth if you’d let it be me.

10. The best thing I can do for this country: teach the next generation how to tie their shoes; and beg the current flourishing generations to catch them when they trip and fall. If you want to stomp with the sole of your shoe and yell “ beetle juice , there’s beetles everywhere” but want an easy target: let it be me. by @hobsflores

Until next @downtownsgf. 4 AM back window view Truck 🛻 @lyft Coming back to this again while the snow falls.

Told Lyft I’d be back to do one of three things : make a film, put sculptures on one of those blocks along The Sculpture Walk, or ask someone to marry me.

Lyft asked about my musical knowledge playing this one - and I think this is most realistic - to come back to this same street lights during a snow fall. taken in Downtown Springfield by @hobsflores
