Siiiiií, te veo
a un lado de la orilla.

Miras como se mira al rezo.

No sé si eres tú
o apenas tu reflejo temblando.

Bringing together a house of brands into one unified system was a careful balancing act. Microsoft 365, Xbox, Teams, Copilot, Edge, and Windows each have their own legacy, personality, and audience. We wanted to bring them together into one visual system that feels cohesive without losing what makes each one special.

We focused on clarity, warmth, and familiarity. From soft mica and warm neutrals to natural light and lived-in textured, every detail is crafted to help people feel grounded and focused. Color reflects product personality, and subtle imperfections keep the system feeling alive and inclusive.

Playful meets sophisticated. Literal meets abstract. And when you squint, it feels like Microsoft across the board.

Grateful for our designers to being this look together @tatiastua @yuliamakh @aaronmartnz @hoc.dog @leitin along with @supisa @cassieklingler @eva @claudiaadp @microsoft.design

🔐 Security, Reimagined.
At Microsoft, security isn’t just a feature, it’s a foundational priority. As threats grow more sophisticated, our commitment to protecting users and systems deepens. The Security Expression refresh reflects this evolution, aligning with the broader Fluent Expression system to create a unified, intuitive, and visually compelling experience.

This refreshed creative direction brings together translucent materials, soft gradients, and scanning textures. Symbolizing transparency, vigilance, and the seamless flow of protection across the Microsoft ecosystem. Elements like the shield icon and directional curves were thoughtfully refined to echo the Fluent design language while reinforcing the narrative of proactive, user-centered security.

Super happy to have collaborated with the Security team on this visual storytelling. More than just aesthetics, it’s about building trust through design.

💙 Shout out to the most amazing team @noodle__factory @katieorenstein aceeegray and Matt 💙
