HOFer Stan Coveleski 1920 Strip Card and 1922 American Caramel. It’s interesting that the strip card is the same photo used for the artwork, just inverted, as the Caramel card. 1920’s Strip cards are really starting to grow on me! by @hofercards

After seeing the Type I Mickey Mantle sell for a record $$, I wanted to repost some of my George Sissler Type I photos paired with a card and an Exhibit card.

Who else collects Type I’s with actual cards? by @hofercards

The 1948 Leaf Jackie Robinson is a recent upgrade to the 1962 HOF election class. This class also included players Bob Feller and Edd Roush (names were often misspelled on strip cards in those days)

Today @sanfranciscocardshow I picked up a signed 1933 Goudey Lefty Gomez today to upgrade my HOF 1972 election class. And, it pairs well with the signed Koufax.

Another pick up at the National last week. I bought this 2nd year Johnny Bech card from a vendor and waited with the crowd for about 1 1/2 hour for my childhood hero Johnny Bench to sign it. I met some amazing people while waiting, as we all talked about our collections and what we collect. The National brings All Kinds of collectors together. Some of my best memories of the NCS was waiting in lines.

The National in Chicago is just a few days away. Here are a few cards that I’m considering to bring with me to move. What do you think? Is there much interest in these old cardboard pieces? #hofercards by @hofercards
