Bad things about it getting colder: Switching on the heating.
Good things about it getting colder: HOFFS are now doing pies and mash for their autumn menu.

We'll be soft launching the new menu at our quiz tonight, where you'll be able to choose from slow cooked lamb, chicken leek and bacon, and porcini and oyster mushroom. All are served with Ed's legendary gravy, mash and buttered greens (vegan option available) for just £12.50.

Oh - and it'll always be £12.50 on quiz nights, on top of £5 pints and £6 Negronis. Gives you a few more pennies to cover that heating bill... taken in Margate, Kent by @hoffs.margate

🔥 ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: SCOTT MARTIN — THIS SATURDAY AT HOFFS 🔥

Seven summers. One legendary dancefloor. And a serious history with the sounds that move us. 🖤🌴

Scott spent seven summers as a resident at We Love, Sundays at Space, Ibiza — having previously held residencies at Mambo and Privilege. Along the way, he's shared the decks with some absolute icons, including Danny Tenaglia, Fatboy Slim, Carl Craig, Alfredo, Groove Armada, Frankie Knuckles, DJ Hell, 2Many DJs and Laurent Garnier. 🚀

This Saturday, he's bringing that experience, Ibiza spirit and love of the unexpected to HOFFS, Margate.

Expect a tougher, tech-edged journey through electronic music, with a few Balearic curveballs thrown in for good measure. 🌅🔊

And the best bit? It's all happening at our FREE charity fundraiser for Pilgrims Hospices. ❤️

🔊 Two rooms of carefully selected electronic sounds
💥 Funktion-One sound system in the basement
🎶 Scott and an incredible lineup
❤️ Donations on the door for Pilgrims Hospices
📍 HOFFS, Margate
🕖 Bar opens at 7pm

THIS SATURDAY. FREE PARTY FOR FREE PEOPLE.

Come for the music, stay for the atmosphere, and help us support a genuinely worthy cause.

Tag your crew. We'll see you on the dancefloor. 🖤🔥 #margate #likemindedmusic taken in Margate, Kent by @hoffs.margate

Thrilled to announce our next show will be Matthew Mckew’s fantastic debut fresh from Edinburgh Fringe!

Margate comedian Matthew Mckew suffered a head injury 5 years ago and his recovery through stand up comedy has been described as a “tour de force” by One4Review and ‘comedy gold” by the Isle of Wight County Press. The show explores the build up to and aftermath of a serious concussion that effectively ended Matthew’s journalism career. Packed with off the cuff “hilarious” (Canterbury Courier) crowd work with his “cheeky chappy” persona (Youngish Perspective, Edinburgh), Matthew delivers an upbeat reflection on all that has changed for him - including his opinion on cats.

Now he returns to his home town to bring Man vs Shelf to @hoffs.margate for one night only. Supporting Matthew is Welsh comedian and actor Carwyn Blayney, who some might recognise from the televised BBC Newcomer Awards. The night will be MC’d by our regular host Sham Shakil.

Tickets are only £3 from link in bio so grab them before they sell out! taken in Marine Drive, Margate by @hoffs.margate
