In 2025, I made you look at me.
In 2026, you will see why.

INVISA still hums beneath my skin. This work asked me to step into the architecture of the prison system—not as a body inside it, but as a listener and facilitator, holding space for concrete walls, invisible restraints, and the histories carried through other bodies. It required sitting with discomfort, anger, and tenderness without rushing toward resolution.

Facilitating the creation of this piece alongside a cast willing to risk, listen, and move with honesty reshaped how I understand freedom, punishment, and care. Their trust and bravery allowed the work to exist without dilution, to stay heavy where it needed to be, and to speak through collective embodiment rather than explanation.

The show may be over, but the questions it raised about who is silenced, who is seen, and who is written off will stay with me long after the lights and concrete fade.
