Choosing Joy and Rejoicing.

“This is the day the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." Psalms 118:24

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the beautiful truth that this is the day which You have made. We choose, by Your grace, to rejoice and be glad in it—not because our circumstances are always perfect, but because Your faithfulness is unshakeable.
We thank You for the ultimate "Day of Salvation" that this scripture points to. Thank You for sending Jesus, the Stone who was refused by men but made by You to be the glorious Cornerstone of our faith. We are deeply grateful that even when facing the cross, Jesus stood in that upper room and sang these words of praise, willingly becoming the bound sacrifice for our sins so that we might walk in freedom.
Thank You, Lord, for Your ultimate triumph over sin, hell, and the grave. Because You conquered death, every single day we are given is a gift of Your mercy and an opportunity to praise You. When we cry out Hosanna—"Save us, we pray"—we thank You that You have already answered that prayer through the gift of Your Son.
Fill our hearts today with an overwhelming sense of gratitude. Help us to live with the joy of the resurrection in our hearts, entering Your gates with thanksgiving and Your courts with praise.

In Jesus’ mighty and triumphant name,
Amen. by @holdernola

I know I will see you again. We will throw the “bacon flavored” ball again. It wouldn’t be Heaven without you. 🌈🌁 #westies #westhighlandwhiteterrior by @holdernola
