These vases are so much fun to make. I essentially make two pinch pot bowls, then I pinch them together so I have a big, hollow, clay ball. Then I shape the ball by rolling it around on the table and smacking it with a wooden spatula. Then I poke a hole in the top and voila! It’s a pinch pot vase! Or bud vase. I can’t decide what to call it. #holderworkshop #pottery #ceramics #slabpottery #pdx #madeinpdx #pdxartist #pinchpot #pinchpotvase #budvase #pinchpots #handmadevase #ceramicvase by @holderworkshop
