SWINGO | • noun •
It happens when a "swing" (an understudy who learns multiple ensemble roles) has successfully performed every single role assigned to them in a production at least once.

This past weekend was a HUGE accomplishment for me! I HIT SWINGO!!! I have officially gone on for each of the FIVE tracks that I cover! To Brian Enzman, Amy McCleary and Lauren Soben, THANK YOU for trusting me to take on this task. I was challenged to say the least but I was also proven wrong by myself.

As a Swing you're in a constant state of uncertainty and anxiety, but also so much adrenaline. I am living proof that anyone is capable of doing it anything they put their mind to! It definitely isn't easy and it requires knowing your show inside and out, frontwards and backwards BUT it is doable!

Lily and Krissi, thank you for being my biggest cheerleaders on my special day! I love you both so much and I already cannot wait to see you again.

To the sweet boys that I cover: Lucas, Chamberlin, Jimmy, Braedyn, Steffen... I cannot thank you enough for all of your support, and patience as I second guessed the littlest things.

Carly, we formed the greatest bond during this process and had each others' backs from the beginning and our relationship has flourished into something beautiful that I will never forget. You were there for me any time I needed a pep talk, clarification or even just a laugh and I adore you more than you'll ever know! Thank you for being you.

To the peeps out there daring to challenge themselves, don't ever give up on YOU! Do your homework and just go for it! taken in Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre by @holdfordevin

Little Shop Of Horrors

Seymour -
You challenged me in ways I didn’t expect buddy — you reminded me of my strength, endurance, and even reminded me to trust myself even when things got tough.
To the incredible production team, cast and crew who poured their hearts into every rehearsal, every laugh, every note, every cue — thank you. You made this story come alive, and you made me feel so supported along the way.
And to everyone who came out, welcomed me home, and filled the theatre with such warmth and love — you reminded me why I fell in love with performing in the first place.
This is truly an experience I’ll never forget. 🪴
