I am a retired teacher who turned to crafting to stay busy and out of trouble! Haha! I always felt a house without decorations looked sad. Celebrate!

Just thought I would share my poster for today’s no kings protest. It was chilly standing out there, but also so worth it! Please vote!

Here is the very beginning of a work in progress. The final project I hope will be the word peace spelled out on Christmas trees. At the moment, my plan is to have the letters in bright white with green Holly leaves and red berries. It just seemed to be the right time for this word.

In my opinion, you can’t have too many cats. So here’s something you don’t see every day, a Thanksgiving cat. We do give a nod to the turkey although he’s not on center stage. As always, there’s a cheeky mouse lurking.

OK. Here’s another Halloween cat. This time a mummy cat. You cannot have too many cats!

I definitely had to take a backseat to this Halloween cat witch. It’s not too soon is it?

Thought I’d share some of the process. These pieces are cut out and sanded and eventually will become cat witches and mummy cats. It may take a minute.

Here comes the Garden Cat complete with dandelions, a shovel, a crow, and of course a mouse. What more could you want?
