This past weekend was CHFA always one of my favourite weekends in our industry. It’s a chance to reconnect with friends, meet new people, share some laughs and, in our case, get the team together from Vancouver for a few great dinners and a lot of catching up.

Of course, in true Tarra fashion, I was hit with a head cold on Day 2 apparently my body’s preferred response to stress. 😂 But even that couldn’t take away from one of the biggest highlights of the weekend: getting to work alongside my daughter.

I have so many things in my life to be grateful for, but the relationship I have with my children is first on that list.

Having Natalie beside me, working in an industry I’m so incredibly passionate about, was honestly a bucket-list moment.
She’s been to CHFA with me before, but never in this capacity. Watching her step into a professional environment with so much confidence and maturity completely blew me away.

At one point I caught myself thinking, When did she learn how to small talk? When did she become a woman? 😂

I would never want to pressure her toward a career that isn’t right for her, but I have to admit… what a dream it would be to have this industry in common for years to come. (she does love it)

It was a long, exhausting weekend, and when I wasn’t feeling my best, she truly held me up. My BFF ☀️♥️

I don’t usually post our kids on this page because they like to stay private, but I asked permission lol

Our kids came home from university today and gave me the best early Christmas gift EVER!

FOR YEARS I’ve been asking for this photo - to no avail. But yesterday before they came home, they went to the mall and took this photo for their Mama. Needless to say I bawled my eyes out because this is all I wanted!!!!

My 50th. Last month he found a wonderful 85 year old man who was practically giving his beloved MG away to a good home.

My hubby told him of my failed birthday restoration and he was more than happy to give up his baby for a great story.
Andrei brought me to my parent’s place and told me a surprise was coming (I had no clue but our kids knew for over a month!)

Standing outside in the rain, a truck probably too big for the street, came rolling down while my dad and I stood there clueless as to what was happening! This is why Andrei was trying to capture my face on his phone.

(When your hubby loves cars, you have to borrow garage space lol)

Anyway, after the insane month we have had, this was a very welcomed bit of great news and surprise. We spent the whole night driving, listening to music, throwing our hands in the air and having our decaf lattes ❤️
