I once wrote 36 reasons to a beautiful soul why I loved them, a person who entered my life so authentically. That unbeknownst to them, this person gently healed parts of my inner child. The following year I did it again, only to realize I had never offered that same kind of love to myself. Somewhere along the way, I made peace with the hollow space my mom left behind. It no longer feels like an emptiness begging to be filled, but a sacred place where her love still finds me—in the warmth of the morning sun, in a familiar scent that stops me in my tracks, and in the quiet moments where her presence feels closer than ever. Turning 30 “fine” was never about external factors but a balance of internal and external factors and finally feeling free. Walking away from nearly a decade of manipulation, coercion, and survival with nothing but faith the size of a mustard seed and unwavering intuition became one of the bravest and best decisions I’ve ever made. That choice unraveled me, rebuilt me, and led me to become a certified herbalist, cultivate my own little sanctuary filled with life and greenery, and form soul deep connections with people navigating healing alongside me. To every client who trusted my hands, every customer who believed in my teas, tinctures, oils, and dreams before they had proof, and every family member and friend who prayed with me, laughed with me, cried beside me, joked with me, embarked on adventures, allowed me to hold space for them as well—thank you. Your love became gentle reminders that healing is rarely loud, but it is always transformative. So, with all that being said… I am blissfully fine.

For women’s history month, I personally wanted to do something to honor all women.

I bought a plant each day to honor the inner beauty and strength of womanhood. To honor, not just my ascended ancestors but also to all women. The women who have paved a way for the women after them. The inventions made by women that are still readily used daily, the women who fought, who nurtured, birthed, guided, healed, taught and calmed so many souls. As the list still grows and flows. My gratitude will nurture each plant and pour into them as it was harvested for us and we were able to propagate it through traditions, guidance and overall love.

Prosperous Purchasing

Plant Collector: Collecting all different types of plants and creating a space and environment for them to flourish.
Urban Gardener - A person who grows plants, herbs, and veggies no matter the environment. A bit like “the rose that grew from concrete”.

Whether I’m reorganizing, rearranging, adding or subtracting from my place of balance and great air quality. I will continue to make space for a new plant baby.

So, if you see me in public grabbing my own clippings of a plant so I can propagate it, or if you see me in a nursery grabbing my 3rd or maybe 10th plant for the week…just nod and know I want to be the Ash (Pokémon) for plants..or creating a living, organized and functional botanical jungle for my children and myself.

Still enjoying my birthday month..

On my actual birthday, a gratitude breakfast was made for my kids. As I told them: “yes, today is mommy’s birthday but you three must be celebrated as well. So, I went in the kitchen to make them homemade pancakes, potatoes, and honey butter biscuits with a side of vegan sausage. Then to wash it down with fresh fruit juice w| sea moss.

As they hurried to the table they were also met with individual letters for each one of them. Letters that professed my infinite gratitude and love for them. Each letter had my feelings pour out and how I love and appreciate them so much. Each letter was different because of the journey and memories with each individual child. The only similarity is the love, gratitude and protection I share with them all.

A humongous thank you to everyone who called, texted and even emailed me wishing me a happy birthday. Thank you for your words, your mentions, your gifts and for some even your presence!

My family, friends, customers and clients you all showed up and showed out. It was and still is BEYOND appreciated.
