Today I celebrate one year of sacred self-work.

Therapy became a mirror, a release, and a rebirth.
I’ve shed old stories, healed inner wounds, and learned to hold space for myself with compassion.

Healing is spiritual work.
Growth is holy.

My baby was the last 4th grader standing in the spelling bee!! 🐝✨ She held her own for 4 whole rounds out of 10! I am so proud of her. What made it even more special was seeing how proud she was of herself — the confidence she had as she spelled those words was everything. When I say my daughter and I had a time on Halloween — we really did! 🎃🖤
We skipped trick-or-treating this year, and instead, I surprised my baby with a fun night out at the movies, plus a few spooky activities at home. She dressed up as a Scary Clown 😂 and we went to see Stitch Head — which was such a great movie! The best part? We had the entire theater to ourselves! 🙌 Of course, we had our popcorn, ICEEs, and candy on deck!

When we got home, we decorated pumpkins, frosted cupcakes, ate wings and nachos, and watched Wednesday on Netflix. She was all smiles and even said it was the “best day ever!” 🥰

I told her next year we’ve got to get creative — she’s in adult sizes now 😭🤣 wigs, makeup, the whole nine! We’re going big next Halloween! 💅🎭👻 #HalloweenVibes #MomAndDaughterTime #BestDayEver #HalloweenFun #MovieNight taken in Stone Mountain Park by @holisticore_
