Our Little American (Pittie) Baby 🐶🐾💙

From the tiny 10-week-old puppers we welcomed home two days before Christmas to the 55-pound snuggle bug she is today. A whole lot of zoomies, backyard romping, talking back, questionable decisions, and being ridiculously cute. 😍

Apparently I spent most of @igniteitevents LA doing what I do best: talking to people and occasionally remembering to take a picture. 😂

One more batch from a really great day with some really great humans.

This industry can be complicated, chaotic, frustrating, inspiring, hilarious, and completely ridiculous. But the people are still my favorite part of it.

Old friends, new friends, longtime collaborators, and a few people I finally got to meet somewhere other than through a screen!

Business gets done at events like these, sure. But relationships are the business. Good people. Good conversations. A lot of laughs.

So great to see everyone yesterday at @igniteitevents LA/California Market Spotlight! Great venue, great panels, and, most importantly, great people. Patrick and Elliot and their team really did a fantastic job of putting all the right people at the event.

We’ve had the pleasure of working with the IgniteIt team for several years now to highlight people and businesses doing excellent work in the space and facilitating interesting and intriguing conversations (you’ll see those soon!). It’s been a month since Labor Dave Weekend at the Gorge, and I still can’t shut the fuck up about it. 🤷🏻‍♀️🎶

It was only my second year but fairly certain it’s fully part of my entire identity now. 🏕️🌄

I know I can’t be the only one, right?! Because it’s completely normal to find a way to mention the Gorge or Dave Matthews Band in every conversation you have… and then force your non-DMB friends to watch every blurry, dark video of yourself singing completely off-key. 📱🎤🤣

So… who else is still mentally at the Gorge, dancing on the lawn to the best band with some of the best people? 🥹💃🕺🎸🎻🎷🎺🥁📡✨

At some point, “being the bigger person” or “taking the high road” just becomes volunteering to be disrespected. Unfortunately, some people only understand consequences after they’ve exhausted your compassion. You know, when it finally does affect them. It’s ok to not have much patience for that. Historically, how have bullies been overcome? Well, it hasn’t been with puppy dogs, ice cream, and the “high road.”

It’s not so much about holding grudges, it’s more about holding receipts, establishing boundaries, and having a crisp, clear memory. Yes, it’s healthy for you to process and forgive but never, ever forget and don’t be afraid to get in the mud and burn bridges, especially when it comes to people, organizations , and entities that don’t give a shit about the lives of you and/or your loved ones. taken in United States by @hollerwithholler

That first look is when it really hits you… you’re back. 🥹

Three nights of DMB, 20,000+ people singing along together, and one of the most magical places on earth. Take me back. ✨

Turns out getting to the Gorge was half the fun. 🌲🚙

Instead of flying, Brian and I decided to road trip it in the new Kia hybrid, and our first leg did NOT disappoint.

Up 101 through Northern California, through the redwoods and the Avenue of the Giants (first time for me!), then into Southern Oregon before calling it a night in Eugene.

And holy shit… some of these views. 😍

There’s something about driving through the redwoods with good music on, nowhere you need to be too quickly, and the Gorge waiting at the end of the journey that just hits different.

Definitely one of those “glad we took the long way” decisions.

And we hadn’t even made it to the Gorge yet. 💚

On our recent road trip, we stopped by the last remaining Blockbuster in Bend, OR and it was a hell of a blast from the past. Definitely worth checking out!

Crazy to think about how important places like this used to be and now all of us have 500 Blockbusters worth of content (it’s actually a ton more) available to us on all devices at all times. taken in Blockbuster Bend by @hollerwithholler

I was somehow able to find a way to turn myself off for about 10 days. I’m back now and fully recharged. Highly recommend putting some time to disconnect into your schedule (or even better, not having a schedule at all) when you can. by @hollerwithholler

Had a fantastic time at the @leafmagazines Bowl yesterday at @doobienights_707 and @cafe.dobe! Always great to see so many excellent people and companies coming together to celebrate our favorite plant. Congrats to Leaf and all the nominees and winners!!! by @hollerwithholler
