Well, I had the best intentions of posting more this year (𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙪𝙩) 𝙗𝙪𝙩... sometimes you’ve just got to be a willow in the wind; let your branches ride the currents without breaking, right?

Okay, that’s a nice thought, but a vague explanation, isn’t it? How about instead of listing my hurdles, we go with a real example of what 𝙗𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜-𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬-𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙘 looks like up close. Besides, there’s a secret about finding silver linings I want to pass along too.

First, where the silver lining was found.
Phase 1: My 4am planned adventure was squashed at 3am.
Phase 2: Did I fret and raise my blood pressure? (alright, yes; for about 30 seconds, lol)
Seriously though, I thought of the “what if’s” that may be 𝙞𝙣 𝙢𝙮 𝙛𝙖𝙫𝙤𝙧 ... older car-breakdown/danger/pushing farther than I should physically... the list went on.

Now get this: Thinking of “what ifs” did not make me feel afraid of what was maybe out there; the opposite actually.
I felt immediately comforted, like the universe was watching out for me with a heads-up, special for that morning.
Phase 3: So, I had a cuppa, read a little, walked to backyard, and found my silver lining. That silver overrode any disappointment when I was visited by the magic on wings in frames 1 & 2.
Caught on iPhone, 2 frames shot, NO edits. Truth told, I’d bet good money I’d never be able to duplicate; thank you silver lining fairy! 🧚‍♀️
