the amount of times People comment on my videos "are you a dr?????" in an effort to discredit me. No... I'm not. But I'm a professional in my field that pours my heart into helping people get healthy. We need both!!!! by @hollsthepractitioner
Herbs to make sure you have going into these colder months!! Don't wait until your house is on fire to get a fire extinguisher. Put these in your medicine cabinets asap. Truuuuuust. Comment HEALTH & I'll send the link and dosage info right to you if you want it. 😊 *not medical advice* (even though it should be). by @hollsthepractitioner
We have absolutely lost the plot guys... "The most protective thing you can do for yourself"... Vaccinating our way into health one Winter at a time. 🙄 by @hollsthepractitioner
Comment COUGH & I'll send you the link as well as the contraindications. 😊 Throw the cough syrup in the trash... Definitely a good one to have going into October with all the coughing thats about to happen! 😷🤧 *not medical advice* (even though it should be). by @hollsthepractitioner
These are JUST A FEW & there are probably hundreddddss of pharmaceutical drugs that got their pharmacological blueprint from herbs & plants. Learning how to use herbs in their pure, natural state and WHICH to use for WHAT has given me so much confidence. Especially as a mother. Pharmaceutical drugs are last resort. Here to help teach you, too!! ❤️🌿 by @hollsthepractitioner
For a list of the contraindications, dosage info and LINKS, comment HEALTH & I'll send all that information over to you! 😊 All of the capsules can be opened and added to foods or liquids for kids! Definitely a great place to start if you're wanting to upgrade your medicine cabinet this year! 🌿 🌱☘️ *Not medical advice (even though it should be). Consult your Dr.* by @hollsthepractitioner
Don't wait for perfect. Don't wait for it to "fit your lifestyle"... Be as consistent as you can with your health in every situation you're given! Lunch didnt go well? OK, dinner will be better. Not "eh I'll restart on Monday".. 30 minute workout took an hour?? Thats ok! Do it again tomorrow. "Im going on vacation soon so I'll start after" Start what???? You cant make healthy choices on vacation while simultaneously enjoying dessert? Let go of the "all or nothing"!! It's holding you back big time. Do what you said you were going to do. When you finally let go of perfectionism, you start to realize how beautifully simple living a healthy life actually is. Perfect doesn't exist... Consistency wins every time... even when it isn't perfect. by @hollsthepractitioner
Drop a comment and I'll send you the link! 💬😊 My son is super prone to croup so I always have it on hand! Such a good one to keep in your cabinet especially going into these colder months! *not medical advice* (even though it should be)... by @hollsthepractitioner
Nutrition and changing your diet can feel like a lot all at once for a lot of people. Its probably the #1 struggle my clients express to me. Focusing on one meal a day for awhile can help take some of the stress and overwhelm out of it! I always tell my clients to focus on breakfast because a really good first meal can change the whole trajectory of your day AND your health! Dial in breakfast and once that feels easy, lunch & dinner will feel easier, too! by @hollsthepractitioner
Its always been really important to me to set goals and let my kids watch me work hard for them. Today's run was a little slower and ended sooner than planned, but I was so happy he wanted to come with me! Had the best little chats. ❤️ by @hollsthepractitioner
Vibration plate → brisk walking, stairs, dancing, jumping, cartwheels,. Red light therapy → morning/outdoor sunlight. “Lymphatic drainage” tools → WALKING. Your lymphatic system doesn't have a heart-like pump; skeletal-muscle contractions and breathing help move lymph. Walking is beautifully simple. Rebounder → jumping, skipping, dancing or walking. You don't need a mini trampoline specifically to get muscle contractions and movement. Cold plunge → cool/cold shower. Grounding mat → TOUCH GRASS YOU GUYS. Don't get me wrong, these can be great additions.. but there is absolutely zero need for any of these things if you haven't mastered the basics. You can spend thousands trying to optimize your health… but you can't biohack your way out of neglecting the basics. Get outside. Move your body every day. Eat nutrient-dense whole foods. Drink enough water. Prioritize your sleep. Build and use your muscles. Spend time outside. Have meaningful relationships. Give your body time to actually rest. The fancy stuff should be the BONUS. Not the foundation. Let's master your foundations together! 😊❤️ by @hollsthepractitioner
Drop a comment & I'll you the direct link to the herb as well as the contraindications. 😊💬 Herbs are AMAZING, complex plants containing dozens of bioactive compounds that can influence multiple pathways at once!! This herb has so much research behind it and tons of human evidence I can't believe it isnt recommended more. *not medical advice* (even though it should be). by @hollsthepractitioner
