We are so proud of this girl. Tonight we attended a dinner at Sofia’s school to celebrate the accomplishments of the students in her school’s chapter of SkillsUSA. On Saturday we attended the NJ State SkillSUSA Awards ceremony where Sofia was awarded 1st place in Architectural Drafting. She will go on to represent the state of New Jersey at the 2026 National Competition and Leadership Conference in a couple months. We are thrilled that her hard work and talent was recognized. I celebrated my 55th birthday like an absolute nine-year-old today and I loved every minute of it. I had a grinch meal from McDonald’s because of course I did. It’s adult sized, it comes with dill pickle flavored grinch salt, and a little shaky bag for your fries. It also comes with grown-up grinch socks. It’s a legitimate adult sized happy meal. I love it. I was serenaded with the birthday song multiple times by people I love. After being spoiled with gifts and beautiful cards from Pete and the girls we had a Wicked for Good movie party. So much fun! Thank you to everybody that reached out and wished me a happy birthday. I really appreciate it, especially Disney Cruise Line. I miss you too, girl! Thank you to all my friends and family that made sure today was a special day. #birthdayfun by @holly_emory
