In her kennel, Sparrow was completely shut down, terrified, and invisible to everyone passing by. But a shelter kennel isn’t a reflection of a dog’s personality—it’s just a reflection of their fear.
Once she was pulled into foster care, she got the safe, quiet space she needed to decompress. With a little time, love, and patience, the real Sparrow finally came out—tail wags, kisses, and all! 🥹✨

ADOPT DAVEY!

The shelter is at max capacity, and many dogs are at risk of euthanasia if they don’t find adopters or foster homes soon.

Davey is one of those dogs.

He’s also a volunteer favorite.

Davey is a sweet boy with so much energy and love to give. The stress of being in the shelter for the past 3 months is really starting to take a toll on him, and he needs out ASAP.

Seeking a foster for sweet Jelly! Please share and keep him in mind for a late summer available date!

Jelly was minutes away from a deadline and thanks to his fan base he was pulled from the shelter and sent to boarding. After a week in boarding, Jelly went to board and train to address some issues from kennel stress and being surrendered. He has had 3 sessions a day and has about a month of more training. His trainer says he’s doing amazing and is already moved on to the next phase of training-the finishing touches!

Jelly needs a foster or adopter in early August. He will have completed 6 weeks of training which is an amazing opportunity for him and his foster/adopter. We always believed in Jelly and he is shining now! He is smart, loving, fun and loyal. Notes below are from his trainer who will also help his new people too. Notes from the trainer below!

Meet Jelly! 🩵

Jelly is a happy, outgoing boy who’s ready to find an active family to call his own. He’s incredibly sweet, loves meeting people, and is excellent out in public. Whether you’re headed to a brewery, park, or hiking trail, Jelly is the kind of dog that’s happy to come along.

Jelly is dog-friendly and would do best with a confident, playful dog that enjoys a rough-and-rowdy play style—ideally another bully breed that can match his energy. He’s very responsive and has a great recall, even when he’s getting a little too excited during playtime.

He’s not a fit for a home with cats. He’s great with kids, but because he can be a bit rough when he’s excited, we’d recommend children ages 6 and up.

Jelly has excellent leash manners, is reliable off leash, and has a wonderful foundation of obedience. If you’re comfortable using a prong collar, you’ll have no trouble continuing to generalize his training and work through the little bit of dog reactivity he still has in new environments.

If you’re looking for a fun, adventurous, affectionate companion who’s already got an amazing training foundation, Jelly might be your perfect match.
