goodbye cheerleading,

i’ve been putting off this post because then it means it’s officially over. the laughs, cry’s, chants, prayers, competitions, long practices, handshakes, all of it. I never would’ve thought this day would’ve come. Last weekend I took the mat for the last time (x2) as an all star competitive cheerleader and it was everything I could’ve dreamed of. For the past 9 years cheer has been my rock and as shaped me into who I am today.

I want to say thank you to Kia and Lexi who have watched me grow up. I truly don’t think I could’ve done it without you two as my coaches and you both have always believed in me even when I didn’t believe in myself. I owe you so much.

Hush, my heart hurts having to say goodbye to this incredible team. But I just want to say thank you for making my senior season one of the best, all 19 of you healed something in me that I didn’t know needed healing. Making history several times this season has always been a dream and like Kia said we were never just a one hit wonder. We earned this.

Although this chapter is ending it will always be apart of me, and I will hold onto these memories forever. Thank you to everyone who has listened, watched, helped, and supported me through this huge part of my life. 💜💚 taken in ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex by @hollyschmitzz
