Oh. My. Gosh!! I guessed one twist but… the rest caught me off guard 🤯! I absolutely loved this (thanks everyone who kept telling me to read this) 🤍 The Only One Left is great for spooky season and might be my new favorite @riley.sager book!

Initially I thought Murder Road was going to be a game of cat and mouse. A killer chasing a newly married couple. Well…I was wrong and I’ll be honest, I’m not sure if this book was for me…I wanted it to be tense, heart-pounding, and a race against time 😬 BUT! It’s a good book to read during spooky season!

* July 1995: Eddie and April are looking for the resort where they’re going to honeymoon
* But Eddie makes a wrong turn
* And what they see is a woman…
* Not long after she gets in their car, they notice blood and a truck following them
* When the woman dies at the hospital, Eddie and April are questioned and become suspects in a string of murders
* As they try to clear their names, they dig into the towns’ history
* Soon they learn…something else is happening…something that may take them down for good… by @hols_pocket_book

💋 𝓚𝓲𝓼𝓼 𝓢𝓵𝓪𝔂 𝓡𝓮𝓹𝓵𝓪𝔂 💋

Ooph… Kiss Slay Replay had an interesting premise. Think Groundhog Day but it’s a wedding and it’s murder. Y’all. No. I struggled to get into this, I struggled to finish this. The writing didn’t do it, the story didn’t do it 🫠

* It’s the perfect wedding weekend
* Except for the fact that Willa’s ex fiancee will be there with his new girlfriend…
* And a masked killer interrupts the ceremony
* Willa is determined, she won’t be a final girl
* And then she wakes up…
* Was it all a nightmare?
* But then strange coincidences start happening…
* Willa is stuck in a time loop
* She has to learn how to escape or be doomed to being an eternal wedding guest where all of her best friends are murdered… by @hols_pocket_book

Project Hail Mary isn’t a book I would normally pick up, but after seeing all the hype surrounding the film, I’m so glad I finally did! Andy Weir is an amazing storyteller, and I absolutely loved the connection between Grace and Rocky 🥺🤍 Loved this one! by @hols_pocket_book

The Unknown was everything I wanted in a new @riley.sager novel 😍 a ghost story, a remote island, and lots of suspense. A perfect read for spooky season 👻

I could not put this down! I had to know what happened next and was not disappointed - I thought I knew what was happening and was proven wrong again and again 🤩

* 100 years ago New Avalon was a remote island commune where spiritual mediums lived
* Until they all vanished in 1926…
* Some believe they left, others believed they were murdered
* But thanks to the diary of Daisy Rue, many believe it was a seance gone wrong and something evil was conjured
* Now New Avalon is the set of a movie, telling the story of the disappearances
* Not long after arriving on the island, Marin and her costars realize it’s not all right…
* Strange noises, mysterious symbols, and worse…disappearances
* As fear mounts, Marin turns to Daisy’s diary, hoping it holds the key to making it out alive by @hols_pocket_book

Heart of Glass has me so conflicted…I was completely hooked from the start, but the ending didn’t do it for me 🫣 if you’ve read this, I’d love to hear your thoughts!
