This is one of my favorite workouts on the trainer. It's actually a Zwift workout called SST long, swipe to see the full workout.
It's your classic over under workout that strengthens your ability to recover while still pushing good power. It hurts and it's supposed to hurt.
Swipe to see what fueled this workout and to see if I impressed Stryder.

Try this for your next VO2 max workout on the treadmill or track. Swipe to see the details of the workout.

I'd rather do a session like this out on a track but when you have a little one who wakes up early you gotta do what you gotta do. The stimulus is a bit different but it gets the job done and there is less impact on the treadmill which is a pro.

A realistic look at a weekend of training for a wannabe triathlete. A lot of time spent on the trainer & treadmill in the mornings before the family is up and during nap time. Those are my only training windows (without getting in trouble).

It ain't perfect but it works. Not training for anything specific right now just having a good time and building a strong base.

Swipe to see what powered these workouts. by @holtingalls

We are soaking in every beautiful moment. Enjoy a weekend at Tate & Co farms.

These memories are captured on the Fujifilm X100VI. We've fallen in love with this little camera and are pushing it to its limits.

Our favorite spec ad we've ever done. With a little hard work and luck we were able to put together something we are proud of! Big thanks to the team that pulled this off.

Praise God 🙏🏼 for allowing me to finish another marathon. It's a privilege to be able to train and race so it's something I'll never take for granted. Having my beautiful wife and my bubba there at the finish line means the world to me. Their endless support was the only reason I finished this race today and surprisingly got my first marathon podium. 3rd place overall!

Race recap: this was the hardest effort I've ever put in to finish a race. I made it to the start and finish line which is a huge accomplishment in itself. My plan was to set a huge PR as you could see by my splits for the first 17 miles. But, as all marathoners know, around mile 18 the real race started. I hit a wall and so did the rest of the runners. I was 6th overall around mile 18 and faster runners started dropping one by one. The hills and heat started to take its toll on us. The temps were getting around 70 degrees (which is hot for me) and the elevation gain was around 1,000ft of elevation which is also not ideal for setting PRs but I knew that going in. I was a bit over zealous in my race strategy and started hitting 7:20 miles by the end which is not a sign of proper pacing. At mile 20 I was very very close to throwing in the towel but quitting is not something that sits well with me. Your mind plays some crazy games with you when you're deep into that pain cave and that's when you just focus on one step after the other. I had to dig deeper than I've ever had to physically and psychologically to finish that last 10k. My hamstrings cramped hard on mile 25 and I was walking aid stations. I had to give it everything I had to get that sub 3 so I'm extremely proud of the effort. Shout-out to all the runners and volunteers for an amazing race!

Get out there and do something hard. Test yourself. Put yourself out there and don't be afraid to fail. You only get one shot at this life so honor the gifts God gave you, whatever those may be. You're capable of more than you know. by @holtingalls
