Here at Holy Circle, our primary goal is to make Jesus known. It’s not about us or who we are, it’s about sharing the gospel and telling people the truth. We hope in doing so, to give people a space to come together and have a Christ centered community, for prayer, fellowship, and to uplift one another.
One of our primary ways to achieve this goal is through our podcast! So we hope you join us next week on Wednesday for the launch of our very first episode!

Temptation doesn’t create what’s already in our hearts…it reveals it.

James 1:14 reminds us that we are tempted when we are drawn away by our own desires. That means the battle isn’t always about what’s happening around us, but what’s happening within us.

The answer isn’t simply trying harder to resist temptation. It’s allowing God to transform us from the inside out, to renew our minds, reshape our desires, and bring our thoughts into alignment with His truth.

What are your desires revealing about your heart?

In case you missed it… 🤍

We had some special guests join us on Faith Between Us for a conversation about one of the most powerful moments in Scripture: the temptation of Jesus in the wilderness.

What can we learn from the way Jesus responded when He was tempted? What does His example reveal about Scripture, obedience, identity, and trusting God when we’re being tested?

It was such a meaningful conversation, and one we hope encourages you to look at this passage with fresh eyes.

If you haven’t listened yet, go back and catch the episode. 🎙️✨ by @holycircleorg

Life as a Christian should be easy right!?

Well yes and no…

As a Christian we are told we are going to suffer, actually promised there will be trials

Yet what makes those trials more bearable is the fact that we know He is walking those trials with us. We have the hope of salvation and know that all things are temporary

So often we ask ourselves, Can I watch this movie? Should I go to this event? But maybe that’s the wrong question.
When we remember that our time on earth is limited, our perspective changes. The question shifts from Can I? to Is it worth it?
We have one ultimate purpose: to know Christ and make Him known. When we view our days through the lens of time we begin to realize how many precious moments we spend chasing things that ultimately don’t matter, instead of what does…

What’s one way you could be spending more time on the things that matter? by @holycircleorg

We so often feel like it has to be one or the other: free will or predestination. But maybe that’s because, with our limited understanding, we can’t fully grasp how both could be true at the same time.

The good news is that God isn’t limited the way we are. In His infinite wisdom, what seems impossible to us isn’t impossible for Him. And honestly... thank goodness for that.

Will there ever be an explanation that completely satisfies this question? Probably not. But we believe Pastor Todd’s illustration helps us better understand how Scripture can point to both free will and predestination without forcing us to choose one over the other.

Trying to understand the question of “why do bad things happen to good people?” becomes extremely tough when we have to first define what a “good person” is. By today’s standards that’s a very wide range, and is subjective to each persons experiences. By biblical standards, it’s an extremely clear and narrow path, that we all fall short of it. Pastor Todd gave us some wise insight by bringing up this quote from R.C. Sproul. Check out or podcast episode with Pastor Todd to learn more!

We so often wonder why we are feeling numb or not as “on fire” for the Lord. It’s normal to naturally have ups and downs in our walk. Yet when neglect these five, it tends to always lead to a lack of zeal for God. So when you’re feeling numb, try these simple tools out, (even if you don’t “feel” like it).

Many of us treat salvation like a finish line, as if giving our life to Christ means we’ve finally “made it.”

But following Jesus isn’t the end of the journey; it’s the beginning of one.

The beginning of surrender.
The beginning of growth.
The beginning of learning to trust Him more each day.
The beginning of becoming who He created you to be.

A relationship with Christ isn’t about reaching a level or certain accomplishment and then being done. It’s about walking with Him.

What has God been teaching you in this season? 🤍
