When we’re done touring Europe, someone will retell our story in the style of the Bayeux Tapestry. In London, we got mugged by skinheads wielding extra-sharp scissors. In Brussels, we duct taped a scene kid to the ceiling and sewed a microphone to his mouth for the entire set because I was too flu stricken to perform vocals. In Leipzig, the drum machine burst Sir Lloyd’s eardrum. In Milan, the espresso machine burst my eardrum. Then, we played “football”, or, as Germans call it, “soccer”, with a ball made of fennel pork.

This is the story that some poor bastard will have to retell by hand, painstakingly threading everything together until it sells for $1m when we die, which will then depreciate in value by 99% when the world inevitably forgets about us. BUT, you know what the good news is? The 2060 Hong Kong Noo-Wave scene will make it into a gaudy fashion piece, therefore settling our status as legends once and for all.

Oh yeah, and we’re playing a show on the 19th with some of the most exciting bands in the Portland area.
