This isn’t about dieting or discipline alone.
It’s about a STRONGHOLD.

For me, food became a way to cope with emotions I didn’t know how to face stress, overwhelm, comfort, and control. I wasn’t just eating because I was hungry. I was eating because I was trying to fill something deeper. Something that only Jesus can fill.

What I’ve learned is this: food only fulfills our fleshly bodies but Jesus satisfies every hunger and thirst physically & spiritually.
If emotional eating has become a place you run to, you’re not alone. Freedom is possible, and it starts by letting Jesus into the places we’ve been trying to manage on our own. Don't turn food into an idol! Watch these testimonies today and BREAK FREE with the Lord!

One week in, and I’m still in awe! ✨📖 It’s been 7 days since the Psalms Coloring Book launched, and I’m beyond grateful for all the love and support! Seeing so many of you using this book to color, reflect, and pray has been truly amazing.

“Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!” Luke‬ ‭17‬:‭1‬ ‭KJV‬‬. Offenses will definitely come during this walk with God it's inevitable. But what you do when they come matters. How are you going to handle said offense? How are you going to walk in forgiveness after being offended? These are questions to think about because I can guarantee that you will be in a position where these answers will determine how you will grow in Christ. by @holyessence_

Pride masks the fact that we are offended and that we could be walking in unforgiveness towards others. Bait of Satan: Living Free from the Deadly Trap of Offense book by John Bevere is one of the best books I have ever picked up. Anytime I feel offense or unforgiveness trying to get a foothold in my life I read this here book! It has always kept me in check in addition to the Bible. I suggest this book to any & everybody because the enemy does not discriminate lol. by @holyessence_

Season 2 Ep. 1 is out now on YouTube!!! We touch on what it looks like if you leave an open door to the enemy to come in and terrorize you and your family (generationally). 9 times out of 10 the enemy will bring whatever demon (you don't have a choice in this matter it could be sickness, financial strain, barrenness, etc) that comes into your life to delay you and delay your destiny. Ben mentions 1 Peter 5:8 AMP "Be sober [well balanced and self-disciplined], be alert and cautious at all times. That enemy of yours, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion [fiercely hungry], seeking someone to devour." So the enemy is waiting for you to leave the gate open for him to come right in. Then on top of that the Lord RESISTS the proud so once you open that door to PRIDE it's hard to get it out of your heart, mind, body without repenting. Do not leave an open door for the enemy to come into your life by being prideful by getting offended & being unforgiving. Everything has a cause & an effect. by @holyessence_

The two branches of pride that we touch on in Eps. 1 is OFFENSE & UNFORGIVENESS. We offend God all the time but he still loves us and forgives us when we truly repent for our sins. God does not hold any offense against us or is unforgiving towards us. Offense & Unforgiveness is not the Fruit of the Spirit but Kindness & Gentleness is. Matthew 6:14-15 states that "For if you forgive others their trespasses [their reckless and willful sins], your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others [nurturing your hurt and anger with the result that it interferes with your relationship with God], then your Father will not forgive your trespasses." This is a perfect example of the consequences when you do not forgive someone because God forgives you plenty of times when you offend him so who are you to not extend that grace towards others. by @holyessence_

Pride is a STRONGMAN // STRONGHOLD but our God is STRONGER. This season we are breaking down & uprooting the spirit of pride from the UP to the BOTTOM. But before we do that we need knowledge about what spirit are we dealing with. Pride is also known as the Leviathan in the Bible (references Job 41& Isaiah 27:1). We know that we do not struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the rulers, powers, world forces of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places stated in Ephesians 6:12. When dealing with any spiritual warfare against these evil forces you have to know who have to know your opponent just as well as the one who WILL aid in your battle. Pride is THE SILENT KILLER. by @holyessence_
