Who has their family all ready for back to school?

If you don’t, it’s okay we got you! This Saturday we are partnering with some other amazing organizations, such as Rush, the department of Public Health and Salvation Army to help you get ready.

Bring the family out for back to school giveaways, free groceries, free wellness checks and so much more.

This Sunday is going to be SPECIAL! Start time is 12:30pm , I will give an official report back from my time in Rome at the Vatican, after we will officially rename our church to HOLY GROUND and I will be appointed as senior pastor!!! The Church is at its best when it tells the truth about power and stands with those the world would rather forget.

When it refuses to bless cruelty. When it refuses to confuse nationalism with faith, wealth with righteousness, or punishment with justice.
When it reminds us that every person, poor, incarcerated, displaced, grieving, struggling, is sacred and worthy of dignity.

It was a blessing and honor to have met and prayed with Pope Leo, who embodies what it means to in a time of fear and division, be a leader willing to speak with moral clarity and call us back to our shared humanity.

I left Rome reminded that faith is not meant to make us comfortable with the world as it is. Faith is meant to help us imagine the world as it should be, and then give us the courage to build it.

Human dignity is not a political position. It is a sacred obligation.

Another world is possible. But first, we must remember that none of us are free until all of us are free. taken in The Vatican by @holygroundchi
