This cast iron casserole dish has been on my bucket list for a while, finally got it yesterday.

It’s a perfect size for me and it works great, so happy after my first use.

This morning I’ve put myself first, had a long shower after school run. Change my bedsheets and did laundry. Had a cup of tea, read a book. It’s called “Beauty in the stillness” by Karin Hadadan.

It takes time to make a home. It’s been five years since I’ve moved in this flat, day by day is getting better. Adjusting furniture, adding little details, everything is coming together nicely.

I was looking for placemats and finally found them on eBay, it’s handmade and gorgeous.

Enjoyed my cup of tea and play with my son. We got this puzzle last week, it’s a world map. We can learn geography while playing.

After a chaotic morning, school run and all, I take a little break with coffee. When do you usually have your coffee? Early morning or when everything is such settled down?

I’m feeling under the weather today. Luckily I got this red sultan tea from Turkey, it helps a lot with cold and flu symptoms.

How are you all doing?

I know it’s rental and it’s not forever. All I know is that my children won’t be at this age again so they deserve to have a whimsical room.

Last week I started to do the mural painting in their room, added a little more details. Stay tuned for the final results 🤍

It’s an ordinary September afternoon and I suddenly felt that my kid’s room wall looked empty.

So, I got some paint and brush! With my imagination of nature and some mural paintings inspiration, I started my project.

This is how it’s going so far…
