From summer visits to year-round bliss 🌊

This Chilmark cottage got the dreamiest kitchen transformation—trading a cramped, triangular layout for an airy L-shaped space with Taj Mahal quartzite, amber glass pendants, and spearmint green stools.

Now the whole family (plus golden retriever Shuggie 🐾) gathers, cooks, and bakes here in every season.

Get out of town! So thrilled to share the fruits of our labor pay off on the glossy pages of @nehomemagazine
The Cali House—the gorgeous 5,000 sq. ft. Martha’s Vineyard sanctuary blending California ease with New England charm—is officially featured in New England Home’s Cape & Islands Annual Issue (out May 2026)! The article titled Get Out of Town features the work of LMT Designs.

Just a year ago we began the process of capturing this project. We hired the incredible Dan Cutrona for photography, styled every last detail, and made sure every shot honored the architecture, the land, and Liane Thomas’s brilliant design. Then we tackled editorial + award submissions until the magic stuck.

Congratulations to all involved in this beautiful home!

Come with me for a day at Home Gig Creative Services as I help get a Chilmark home ready for sale.

I love the drive to Menemsha, especially when the destination is another Home Gig project. Styling and staging homes for editorial shoots, design competitions, real estate showings—and, in this case, a sale is one of the many things I do.

This house is filled with beautiful antiques and treasures collected over many years and many chapters of life. Now, it’s time to edit, organize and make room for its next chapter.

I’m sorting what stays, what gets packed away, and what can find a new home through a local thrift shop—creating a more spacious, intentional presentation that allows the house itself to shine.

A little editing can make a big difference when you’re preparing a home for market.

That’s Home Gig. Making homes—and the stories they tell—ready for what comes next.

Fair winds, Shenandoah.

After 63 years, this beloved Vineyard schooner is sailing into retirement. What a fitting final voyage—bringing The Chilmark School’s 4th & 5th graders (my 5th grade class) home after a week at sea, filled with learning, adventure and memories they’ll carry forever.

For generations, the Shenandoah has been part of the fabric of Martha’s Vineyard. 💙 We are so fortunate to have this amazing experience for our kids! Thank you @mvoceanacademy

Fair winds & following seas, old girl. What a legacy. ⚓️

Thanks @filmtruthproductions for this beautiful capture!

What I Did This Summer ☀️
A little bit of work. A little bit of wandering. A little creating, writing, antiquing, dreaming, and imagining what might be next.

I helped people think about their homes and their next chapters, collected ideas, explored beautiful places, and continued building the creative life I’ve been imagining.

But perhaps my greatest accomplishment this summer was slowing down enough to listen.

I’m learning that you don’t always need to know exactly where you’re going. Sometimes it’s enough to stay curious, follow what inspires you, and keep imagining what’s possible.

As summer quietly slips away, I’m taking the ideas, inspiration, and a little bit of that sunshine with me.

Here’s to the next chapter. ✨

"Landscape architecture and building architecture are two things that need to be seen in some sort of intimate relationship.” — Robert A.M. Stern

Had to capture just one of the daily details I get the pleasure to admire☀️
In this small but extraordinary detail, that relationship becomes literal. Balanced between two windows, a mosaic of sand, shell, stone, and sea glass transforms the wall into another view of the landscape beyond.

Life lately at Homegig has been a beautiful balance of creating and connecting. 🌸

As I close out my time with the Chilmark 5th grade, I’m reflecting on a year of growth—both for the kids I supported and for the creative projects Homegig is bringing to life. This is our busiest season for photo shoots—everything is lush, green, and inspiring.

We’re deep in production for our architecture, construction and design clients, crafting digital assets that tell their stories.

Summer is here. The work is good. The community is even better. 🌊

This week’s inspiration arrived in a swirl of glass and imagination: a Dale Chihuly vessel.

Our fifth grade class made these beautiful, truly artful vessels of their own—each one a little whirlwind of color and courage, proof that creativity doesn’t wait for permission. It just grows.

Let this be the week you forget “practical.” Let your edges be wild, your palette messy, your shape unapologetically your own. Make something that doesn’t ask permission to be beautiful.

Be the vessel that holds light—not water❤️

So inspiring to style these distinct bathrooms with @lmtdesign and photograph with @dancutronaphoto . Each space demonstrates the masterful approach to balance and atmosphere.

From the serene, moonlit glow of the powder room to the bold energy of the guest bath's blue Moroccan tile, every detail was considered. The master suite achieves perfect harmony, where the iconic tile grounds a spacious layout and the lighting creates a truly luminous retreat.

In Robert A.M. Stern's work, windows are designed as deliberate displays. Overlooking a garden, they frame the landscape as a tranquil extension of the interior, reflecting his philosophy of harmonizing timeless architecture with its natural setting!
What a joy to experience these beautiful details up close❤️
