(quick) snippets from festive archives ✨ by @homemadebypearl

Festive week at @homemadebypearl 💗

For the last five years, Ganpati has been my favourite season at Homemade by Pearl. And as a full-time corporate girl and part-time baker, I was very, very excited to bring in the season this year.

A glimpse of what went down: many, many, many modaks (I lost count after the first 100), even more cookies, mini cookie jars that were so cute for gifting, plus cakes, muffins and a lot more that never made it to the camera because we were too busy baking and packing 😭

Thank you for keeping us so busy and letting us be part of your celebrations 🥹🫶🏼 by @homemadebypearl

Bulking, cutting, I don’t know. Have a cookie. Might’ve had these gym bros fight over them for real 😉

Ted Lasso biscuits 🍪

My current hyperfixation made me do it. These are rich, buttery, slightly nutty and dangerously easy to eat.

226g unsalted butter
100g powdered sugar
250g all-purpose flour
25g cornflour
½ tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp almond extract
Flaky sea salt, optional

Bake: 160°C for 30–38 mins, until lightly golden around the edges and pale in the centre.

Chill the dough for 30 mins before baking.

Being a baker means we’re always part of celebrations, birthdays, anniversaries, even just little gestures or cravings. This one was special ❤️ by @homemadebypearl

you know how you can crave something you’ve never had? This was exactlyyy that. It’s like a good ol confetti in the besttt way 🎂 11/10 for dot cakes 😋 by @homemadebypearl

My mom has been making lychee cakes for as long as I can remember.

Every summer, when lychees were in season, there was always one on the table, soft sponge, fresh fruit, and absolutely no occasion needed.

Years later, it’s still made the same way.

Fresh lychees, a delicate glaze, and your choice of vanilla or chocolate sponge.

Not the prettiest bowl, but it does the job when a sweet craving hits.

2-Min High-Protein Chocolate Bowl 🍫

Ingredients:
• 1 scoop protein powder (I use The Whole Truth – 25g protein)
• 1 tbsp cocoa powder
• 1 tbsp oat flour or regular flour
• 2–3 tbsp milk
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1–2 tsp chocolate chips

Mix everything into a thick batter.
Microwave 45–60 seconds (slightly undercook so it stays soft).
Let it sit for 30 seconds and that’s it.

~210–230 calories
~26g protein

11/10 would recommend. by @homemadebypearl
