Festive week at @homemadebypearl 💗

For the last five years, Ganpati has been my favourite season at Homemade by Pearl. And as a full-time corporate girl and part-time baker, I was very, very excited to bring in the season this year.

A glimpse of what went down: many, many, many modaks (I lost count after the first 100), even more cookies, mini cookie jars that were so cute for gifting, plus cakes, muffins and a lot more that never made it to the camera because we were too busy baking and packing 😭

Thank you for keeping us so busy and letting us be part of your celebrations 🥹🫶🏼 by @pearllbalani

The story behind @deepikapadukone visiting @gigibombay ❤️❤️❤️ by @pearllbalani

Bulking, cutting, I don’t know. Have a cookie. Might’ve had these gym bros fight over them for real 😉

A little bit of everything from my first Ayurvedic retreat 🌿

This is the kind of trip I never thought I would take, and I came back saying highly, highly, highly recommend. I could not recommend it more.

Some takeaways:

Mind
- Slowing down is a skill, I’m still learning it
- Less phone, optimise decision making
- Up by 7 am

Body
- Gentle movement every day, no pushing
- Warm water on repeat
- Early nights, I felt the difference

Food
- Lots of jeera and ghee, simple meals
- Eating slowly, no screens
- Warm food over cold, every time by @pearllbalani
