One of the things I wanted to do is create opportunities for young people who are interested in event management to gain real, hands-on experience of working at live events. I contacted @uniofsurrey & the response was fantastic - followed by face-to-face interviews I am delighted to welcome 3 new Brand Ambassadors to the @curatedbydapperandsuave team: Anupama, Sanjana & Tilly. Our Summer Market was their first event working together, in this video filmed by Nick @ccmediauk you’ll meet Anupama and Sanjana and hear what they thought of their first event Anupama @diary_in_transit loved meeting our independent businesses + discovering just how friendly - welcoming our community is & discovered one of the dangers of working of a pop up shopping market… wanting to buy EVERYTHING! In fact, she was so determined not to miss out on her tiramisu @homemaker_baker that she had asked for one to be put aside after seeing they were selling out! Sanjana spent her first event meeting our businesses, welcoming visitors and getting to know how everything works behind the scenes of course, she couldn’t resist a little shopping either, treating herself to one of the beautiful hairpins @psquared_psquared @dancer_tilly our third new Brand Ambassador. She joined us for the morning before heading off to celebrate something rather important – her birthday! So we’ll be introducing you properly to Tilly very soon. They’re not simply here to work on event days. Want them to have opportunities to learn, contribute ideas, experience different areas of event management and develop their skills as they become more involved. They’re joining a fantastic wider team of people who help make these events happen including @jakubdurian - to follow and Dan @aloftivisuals who captures so much of the photography and video that tells the story of our markets. I’m incredibly proud of the team and excited to see how our new Brand Ambassadors grow with us. If you’ve been to one of our markets, there’s a very good chance you’ve spotted Dan @aloftivisuals behind the camera… but this time we turned the camera on him! 🎥 At our Summer Market, Dan decided to make the most of our fabulous @facepaintingbysohaid and proudly had the Faroe Islands flag painted on his face. 🇫🇴 So, while he was sitting still for a few minutes Nick @ccmediauk thought to find out a little more about the man who captures so much of what happens at @curatedbydapperandsuave 🎥 What does Dan do? He’s our videographer and photographer, capturing the people, businesses, atmosphere and all those little moments that make our markets what they are. 📸 How many markets has he filmed? Dan reckons around 30… although just over 20 - seems more …. 🍪 What does he buy at practically every market? Being vegan, Dan makes a beeline for the vegan cookies, cakes and treats from @homemaker_baker @ @bluetreekitchen 🤝 How did it all start? Dan approached Jason on 31st March 2024 because he loved what we were creating and felt he could help us capture the real essence of the markets on film. A conversation turned into a collaboration, and MANY markets later, he’s very much part of the Curated family. @denbies_wine_estate & @syonparkestate including Photo shoots and with @dappersuave with the last one in Brick Lane capturing what he does best. That really sums Dan up — brilliant at what he does, always up for getting involved and never taking himself too seriously. Because our events aren’t just about shopping. They’re about the people, the personalities, the connections… and having some fun along the way.
