HELLO FRIENDS!

It’s been awhile! I’ve been taking some time away for health reasons.
Without writing a book, 2025 was a tough year for my family. I had a cancer diagnosis with 3 months of chemotherapy, surgeries, hospital stays for complications, so many appointments, and then my mama passed away. It was a lot!
But many good things also happened in between! With God’s grace I’m still here and 2026 has been good to me! Lots of healing and recovering ❤️‍🩹
I started a flea market booth that has been so much fun and I’ve been volunteering a lot with a place I love…Isaiah 117 House! I will share more on that later. ❤️

Not sure I’ll be on here as much as I used to be, but I’ve had so many sweet followers check in on me and I wanted to give an update and say Thank you! 😊

I’ve realized you cannot control too much in life, but one thing you can, is a cozy peaceful home! My home on Native Trail has always been my soft place to fall with the people I love!
Sharing a few bits of fall…nothing too spooky this season! I hope you all have a fun and safe Halloween! 🎃
With love,
Amy 💕

It has been awhile since I’ve been on here! I took some time off to focus on my health…it has been quite a year!
I want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year! ❤️ by @homeonnativetrail

Easy and free porch pot!
Using several stems from pine trees on our property made this free for me to make! You could go to a park or ask your neighbor if you could have some tree clippings. 😉
I already had the pinecones and berry stems. I left the dirt in the pot from my summer plant and wet it down just a bit. Just keep adding layers until you get the look you want…so easy!!! You can spray it with water throughout the winter, but it should last all season!
Only 5 more days until Christmas! ❤️

I guess I really like fireplaces! 🔥
They add a little more cozy to any space and can easily be installed depending on the type.

*Bedroom (freestanding electric and the easiest to add to a space!)

*Basement (electric and fairly easy DIY from @touchstonehomeproducts)

*Living room (gas logs)

*Patio (gas logs)

Also, all trees except the living room one are from @kingofchristmas

Which fireplace is your favorite?

Here’s a few ideas of what to do with all of the stems that fall from your garlands and trees:

* Add them to spaces on countertops and shelves
* Make a small arrangement in a vase
* Use as a filler in a bowl with ornaments or pinecones

They have so many uses so don’t throw them out!
Do you use your “scraps” or throw them out? 😀

Happy Black Friday!!!!
Our beautiful @kingofchristmas tree ended up on our covered patio and I could not love it more! It’s the 8’ King Flocked Slim with 700 warm LED lights.

Check out their Black Friday sale going on now while Harper and I stay right here all cozy by our tree! 🐶
Are you doing some shopping today?!

Easy pumpkin shaped cheeseball!
I’ve shared this before but it’s so easy and cute to take to your holiday gatherings!

My favorite cheeseball recipe:
* 1 package cream cheese
* 1 cup real mayonnaise
* 1 package of dry ranch seasoning
* 1 8oz bag of shredded cheddar cheese

Mix together and serve with crackers!
I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving! 🦃

Our basement is still a work in progress!

I’m always looking for a realistic looking tree for this corner because we don’t get natural light in this space. We put the Christmas tree here during the holidays, but I needed something for the rest of the year.

Thanks to @lyersetree I found a beautiful option!
This is the 7 ft olive tree, but they have all sizes and styles!
It was easy to put together with just 2 pieces, and I used the box it came in to fill the planter.
I added some burlap and Spanish moss to dress it up!
I already had this ceramic planter, but a basket could also be used!
I love how it fills in this space!!! 🌿🍃🌱

Need a tree for yourself? Go to my bio and click Shop my Home in my LTK!

Setting up @kingofchristmas trees are as easy as 3,2,1!

This is the 8’ King Flocked Slim tree with 700 warm LED lights…

You only have to plug the base piece into an outlet, the other 2 pieces are connected with the electric pole as soon as they are inserted!
The lighting options are so fun and easy to change with a remote…It’s so pretty all lit up at night!!!! ✨

I can’t wait to show you where it ends up in our home…any guesses?! 😀

Link is in my bio!

I’m still loving Fall over here! 🍂🍁
Just sharing a cozy evening in my living room before it turns into Christmas!
Did you catch my new rug?! I’m loving how soft it is and the subtle plaid pattern is perfect!
I’ll share the link in my LTK!
Also, Harper is an attention seeker…🐶❤️ but we love sharing this place with her!

HAPPY NOVEMBER!!!

I haven’t started Christmas decorating yet, but I’m excited to receive another tree from my friends @kingofchristmas again this year!

Here are a few of my favorite things you get when you choose one of their trees:
* The gloves are great to wear when separating the branches.
* The storage bag makes it easier than trying to stuff it back in the box each season!
* The remote has a dimmer, timer, & 8 different lighting options.
* The foot pedal adds another convenient way to turn it in or off instead of climbing under the tree.

Stay tuned to see how easy they are to set up!!!! 🎄

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! 👻🎃

Just a few pics of Halloween decor in the past. I didn’t do too much this year. A few Jack o Lanterns and that’s it!
I miss the days of helping my girls figure out their costumes and taking them out to get their candy haul!

Have a spooktacular day and be safe! 😉
