Bedroom Stories: Part 2
My sister'r bedroom is the most simple one. Since it has 2 sides covered with window the scope to add is quite less. So I just went with the flow and highlighted these window frames with floral curtains and let the room be. Both of our dressing area looks the same. It was my dad's idea. He didn't wanted us to fight over whose is better 😆. I've kept the wardrobes and cabinets white throughout the space to balance it out.
What do you think?
P. S. : who else is obsessed with this song??

Step by step we are building our new home. Books has a very special place in our hearts. So I'm dedicating this area to them. A place where we can sit relax and enjoy some good reads. Most of them are from our childhood days and also from our teenage years. Then we left home and our taste in books have changed with time. But the memories are still fresh in my heart and will always cherish them.
.
P. S. : the Assamese books are my parents collection. I've only read a few. Someday I'll dig into them for sure 😄.

Happy Janmashtmi to all.
Haven't done much this year just a small puja and read a few pages from Bhagavad Gita.
Back at home every Janmashtami my mom will make laddu out of freshly ground rice flour. It is my sister's favourite. But I love her kheer that comes after 😄.
P.S.: I've bought these beautiful Pattachitra paintings of Ganesha and Radha Krishna by artist @apindraswain from this year's Dastakar exhibition in Bangalore. The moment I saw them I knew they belonged in my home ❤️

I have been busy for the past few weeks with a little renovation project at my place.
I'm redecorating or you can say redesigning my master bedroom. It's still not ready yet so you guys have to wait a little longer for the pictures.
In the meantime I bought some flowers yesterday and had to click a few pics because my dining space is looking like a diva 😍.
P S : I somehow managed to match my floral arrangement with the wall art by @praaggya at the back!

With every change I make to my home feels like I'm removing a part of Odie forever. Every corner here has his memories engraved in it. Even the smallest of things remind me of him. I still keep his bowl at the very same spot where he used to eat. One day my husband asked me to keep it inside but I just couldn't. Everyday his bowl gets washed and put back at the same spot. by @homewithh_

From the day I picked up the camera again, the Sun God has been rather uncooperative. It’s like we’re playing a game of hide-and-seek that I'm not aware of. The moment I touch the camera, the sun vanishes and just waits for me to give up. Someone please tell him that playtime is over 😭

Did this chotu saa DIY back in 2024... but then life happened and I couldn't post it. Today I finally thought maybe I should post it. While editing I realised I don't have any clip or photo of the finished piece. So I went out, picked up some flowers and finally styled it ❤️
