Europe’s oldest city. This is the Palace of Knossos in Crete, Greece—a 4,000-year-old Minoan palace with over 1,300 rooms. This complex is the real-world birthplace of the myth of the Labyrinth and the Minotaur 🐂 taken in Knossos Palace - Heraklion, Crete by @honcho864

Site of a Roman city under the Acropolis Museum.

The Caryatids are famous, beautifully sculpted marble statues of women that serve as supporting architectural columns on the south porch of the Erechtheion, a sacred temple right next to the Parthenon on the Acropolis. The originals are in the Acropolis Museum (with 1 statue at the British museum) and the temple has recreations supporting it now.

A good day on the platform at Masters World Championships in Finland. There was stiff competition in my division so we decided to go aggressive instead of playing it safe. It didn’t pan out like we wanted but still finished the day with a bronze, leaving me hungry for more. Thank you to @blackandredbb for coaching and pushing me to be bold, and to @adamkosna @aplazibat56 @furkidsfoodandfitness @machinegatdre and @meahubble for all of the support! taken in Rovaniemi, Lapland, Finland by @honcho864
