𝚀𝚞𝚒𝚝𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚜𝚙𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚍 🍱

I was really itching to try out Arlo's new lick mat we picked up over the weekend, and I honestly love it.

It doesn't have suction cups on the bottom, so it doesn't get stuck to our countertop when prepping; the honeycomb design is so fun for playing around with textures, scents and tastes; it's sturdy, so it doesn't bend as much as a typical lick mat does when it's loaded up.

He hasn't even used it yet and I already give it two thumbs up 👍🏻👍🏻😂

Goodies used:
🥭 frozen mango
🍓 frozen strawberry
🫐 frozen blueberries
🍗 @woolworths_sa chicken liver pâté
🥛@woolworths_sa yeast-free kefir
🐑 @acana_sa lamb & apple treats
🦆 @absolute.pet duck loaf
🐑 homemade lamb liver sprinkle

Did we miss any? 🥲

IB: @meatballmogwai

Couldn't pass up after seeing their post, as we were just talking about all the gross things we do for Arlo this past weekend.

Part of the job 🤷🏻‍♀️💪🏻

Got a dog that experiences early morning vomiting, despite having eaten the evening prior?

Hey, us too! 🫠🙃

BVS has been a wild ride, with a lot of rug and floor cleaning and one sad puppy, but we're managing 🥲

Our methods aren't Arlo-proof, and we do still get some episodes a month, but how we manage the aftermath is another post for another time.

The betrayal of the first bath in our new home. 🧼

He thought he'd rid himself of baths after leaving his nemesis shower behind at the old house, but the boy was turning yellow from our dirt yard 😭

We'll get grass eventually, but for now he'll have to get used to more frequent baths 🤭

Almost two weeks into living in our new home and Arlo has settled in nicely, and faster than expected.

The first 4-5 days were a little rough for everyone, but we think we've started to find our groove 🌻

Our first home with Arlo. 🤎

A lot of lessons, a lot of laughter
and a lot of memories to take with us.

On to a new home and a new chapter.
