I LOVED collaborating with Customew! I really enjoyed the products that I was able to try out from them. I heard this audio and thought it fit perfectly with the relationship between my DnD character, Bae, and his childhood friend/lover and (now) ex, Val. The whole reason Bae became a warlock (against his will, might I add) was because of a stupid, cruel decision Val made. Their relationship had started innocent, but Bae, being part of a cold, affluent noble family in the Underdark, and Val, being a servant to that family, naturally caused resentment to build. After their relationship became physical, and especially after they both left the Underdark, Val started to treat Bae poorly. Bae, too guilty and starved for love, felt he deserved it. I really wanted to try conveying Bae’s utter desperation for Val’s love and acceptance here. Val feels uncomfortable with Bae’s love and so he lashes out and convinces himself that Bae looks down on him. He doesn’t have room to accept someone’s love when he can’t love himself.

This storyboard animatic is ROUGHHH, I literally just slapped everything together how it felt right, so it’s definitely a work in progress. I don’t know if I will go back and refine it, I would like to I just know it would be a lot of work 😭 If anyone has more experience with animatics and the “rough sketching” phase I’d be more than happy to hear thoughts on how I can improve. I tried utilizing lots of different angles and movement to convey the intensity of the scene, but I’m not sure how much I’ve accomplished that.

The repressed feelings need to come out SOMEHOW Bae. 😌
These are my DnD characters (along with some of my friend’s original characters as well). I can definitely see an interaction like this taking place between Bae (drow) and Xavier (triton) though so I’ve been wanting to make a little scene with it!

Yes, a very realistic depiction of my friend’s and I’s DnD characters 🙂‍↕️ I haven’t posted in a long time (especially reels), but I’m hoping to get back into it for some fun! Our campaign has been going well, too, so I’d like to make more content gushing over it!! The characters depicted are my OCs and my friend @moss_cola ‘s oc as well 😊

I’ve been currently working on character lineups of my friend’s and I’s OCs from DnD, as well as some further exploration into some of those character’s families. I’m getting some good character design and pose practice from it!!

Here are the ArtFight attacks I’ve done so far this month!! I’ve been having so much fun with them and am starting to practice doing backgrounds, it is definitely difficult for me starting out but it is worth it, and I find that I appreciate the piece more because I had (at least) attempted the background! No regrets!! I’m excited to keep pushing 💪
