🚨We’re live!

Two weeks ago at New York Climate Week, we officially launched Sustain Global’s US operations with a panel discussion on The ROI of Sustainability, featuring environmental leader Natalie Kyriacou and investor Alasdair Macleod.

For the past 15 years, I’ve worked in finance and investment advisory, including overseeing a $2 billion climate fund and hundreds of millions of dollars in disaster recovery funding.
Throughout that work, I kept seeing the same challenge.
Sustainability projects or programs kept stalling and funding gaps abound, because the value to financial decision-makers was unclear or internal funding was viewed as the only mechanism available.

That’s why I founded Sustain Global.

At our launch event we explored:
✅ Where we are seeing measurable returns
✅ What investors and executives look for when evaluating opportunities
✅ How sustainability teams can strengthen their financial case through storytelling and proving ROI

🎥 If you’re interested to learn more, watch the full panel discussion @sustain.globalinc ‘s website. Link in bio!

These industries better be prepared for plastic-free revolution. #retail #fashion #wellness #nutraceuticals. When @60minutes9 is onto it, it’s not long until the demand for #non-toxic & plastic-free is the new normal. How are you going plastic-free? taken in New York, New York by @honoraslomowitz

JOIN ME! And millions of your fellow citizens and businesses around the world to go dark for one hour. #earthhour is a coordinated, mass effort to reduce electricity consumption for 1 h one day per year. If you’re in the Southern Hemisphere, 8:30pm tonight is EARTH HOUR! If you’re in the US, Saturday 8:30pm.

The first event was held in my home country of Australia in 2007 and has spread to at least 150 other countries and territories around the world saving ~4% in #electricity use on average, according to a study by Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in my new home of San Francisco. taken in San Francisco, California by @honoraslomowitz

Are you a mom or want to be? Or just a human? Read on. @netflix just released “The Plastic Detox”. If you haven’t seen it, it’s features @drshannahswan - the GOAT on microplastics and their impact on our bodies, especially for fertility as she guides couples through swaps in their household and whether the swaps help lower their microplastic levels and whether they get pregnant as a result. Spoiler alert - it does.

Here are 5 #plasticfree beauty and hygiene swaps available right now in the US @wholefoods and online.

1. Plant-based panty liners from @Sparkle
2. Plant-based ultra pads from @Sparkle
3. Clean toner from @cocokind
4. Flouride-free toothpaste tablets from @huppy
5. Costal mist body wash (soap) from @drsquatch - for the guys (cos they need some love too 😜)

Well done to these businesses for helping solve our plastic and chemical exposure problem. Who’s ready to go plastic-free? Send this to a loved one you want around for a long time 💚 taken in San Francisco, California by @honoraslomowitz
